  1. I read a review where some critics complained about "seeing more penises in a 30-second scene than they'd ever seen before". Thanks for identifying the episode. :)

I am shocked, shocked I tell you that you'd skip Episode 1 and go directly to Episode 2 just to stare at dicks. What about art? What about character development?

Of course I do keep the awful series Ultraviolet from Poland on my Netflix list just so I can stare at the leading man - a gorgeous man you will never see because, regrettably, he never shows his dick. :)

  2. SPOILER - whether you enjoyed it or not the "artsy-fartsy stuff" does make sense. Early in the film you see on the t.v. a report from 1986 about Hands Across American where we all came together demanding help for those in poverty who were less fortunate, even hungry, in our society. In another scene a child is wearing a Hands Across America t-shirt. The movie delves into our dual natures as humans- our better angels as opposed to our primal, tribal selves. The final images (2019) involve lines of people in red jump suits

hell bent on hate and destruction. Look how far we've come in such a short time.

  3. It's been awhile but I've been on several Atlantis cruises and always had a good time. Short trips out of the U.S. tend to be the party crazy ones. The further away 1) Baltic 2) Greece and islands )3 Asia are all more expensive and tend to have a better mix of older and settled types mixed in with the younger. You pretty much find the people you like to hang with in the first couple of days and ignore what doesn't suit you. Better entertainment - we've had Debbie Reynolds, Charo, Rita Moreno and Belinda Carlisle at different times.

  4. If there's an aspiring young entrepreneur out there may I suggest an in home sex doll cleaning service. As robots take over our lives a robot maintenance business seems to be a no brainer. :)

  5. " ... And if you want every movie to be like "Beale Street," White people might not want to see them.

Based on its box office grosses, seem like Black people do not want to see it either.

Beale Street is still in wide release and these are not final numbers. If Regina King wins best supporting the movie will get a bounce.

Blindspotting, Sorry To Bother You and BlacKkKlansman were also released this year. An incredible number of films about the black experience in 2019.

  6. I've watched Ultraviolet on Netflix. It's a not very good show from Poland but I have a schoolgirl crush on the lead actor (plays the cop) Sebastian Fabijanski. If he moves to New York I'll become a stalker, don't like

pirogi much so Poland's out of the question.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXnWRHafgmQ
