I just saw an article about rising mpox cases in CA. It said there were cases in both people with the vaccine and without and implied vaccine still provided protection from severe cases. Can anyone confirm this?  Or know if anyone who had a bad case despite the vaccine?  I wasn’t on this board last summer but am thinking of scaling back my activities due to the wave.  I did get both doses last summer of course.

There are some people who I've seen advertise consistently for a very long time who nobody has mentioned on here at all. Fwiw- I once made the same error. I still don’t know how it happened, bc I always tip (unless the provider was a scam artist- and even then I pay the regular fee). It was a small town in California and after the massage, I drove downtown for some lunch and the provider *followed me into town in his car* and approached me. Kinda made me nervous (he didn’t call me?), but then I was mortified when I discovered that indeed there was $40 extra dollars in my wallet.
