I think that Typical may be on to something. We often identify reviews on massage sites as fake when they are written in the same broken English as the masseur's ad. I would not be surprised if someone at another spa wrote this to disparage a competitor. On the other hand, this may be a legitimate report, and it may be poorly written if the alleged client is genuine, but not familiar with English.

It may be wise in coming weeks to stay out of crowds, such as movie theaters. It may also be wise to avoid intimate contact with people whose previous contacts are unknown to you. Right now, no; but perhaps soon?

I looked up the translation from the Portuguese for the title on that video: "The masseur can't resist the dick of the client." That's what Wikipedia said, word for word!

I'll just add that masseurs in spas get 30% of what we pay. Our tips are important to them. On a $60 massage, I tip $40 if it was OK. If it was very good, I tip $60 .. And I don't consider myself all THAT generous.
"Private" masseurs are something else. Many don't tip, including me. Their stated price is it, and it's high enough. If some 21 year-old kid is just starting out, and charges $100, I'll usually give him $20 extra the first time.

There are so many well-reviewed guys out there, and this message forum is SUCH a good source of information that it really foolish to take a chance on a $150 massage. I suppose it depends on how you react to disappointment, and how much you want to spend your money wisely -- or how much money you have for this.
All you have to do is to read these threads, and you will see how many scam artists and bullshitters there are out there, just waiting to take your money.

I don't really mean to pile on, but I saw this guy more than ten years ago, and he was very weird. I'd say he had an extreme case of attention deficit disorder.

I agree with William M. that the first volume is the most interesting and the best. The chapter on how LBJ brought electricity to the Hill Country is one of the most moving descriptions of America in the 1930s that I have read. This chapter should be required reading in all high school history classes.
 
I have read all of Caro's volumes, and recommend them highly, but Volume One is special. That probably gives the best insight into the mind and motivations of this remarkable man -- love him or hate him.

As we can see in Caro's magisterial biography, he could be petty and cruel and corrupt in his ascent to power, even as a young man in college. What he did to Leland Olds of the FPC was Mccarthyism at its worst.

I agree with jharrison about Peter. He has been one of my go-to guys for years. He's an LMT, and does the massage on a bed, but has a table if you ask. Yes, the $100 includes a (very) happy ending and mutual touch. His first 45 minutes is a legit massage, but the net 15 minutes is.....wow! Things that should not be described in detail here. He's also a very nice guy, and one block from the 1 train.

Seriously, I didn't know that some clients expect a lower price for a "way uptown" location. If a masseur were out in the sticks, like Staten Island or Nassau County, I might expect a lower price. But upper Manhattan.....get real!

Jorge massaged me at Shangri-La. The deepest ever! I almost, but not quite, had to tell him to take it easy. His English wasn't too good then, but that was months ago, so I'm sure it's improved a lot. Nice guy, and probably more talkative, now that he's more comfortable with English.
