I would say if you are this concerned you should consider going on PreP yourself and then not worry about it. It gives you the same level of protection as the person with HIV being in treatment. To me it's the data on suicide rates that is most compelling. Are you in fact a massage student or therapist? If so you could always say you don't know who made the referral but you do do massages. I know of a female trainer at my gym who trades hours of training for hours of massage with a massage therapist so it's not unheard od.
