I gave up on Rosetta Stone French after a couple of weeks. I couldn't seem to pronounce the vowels right to get past the speaking test. I would repeat "oeuf" twenty times until that stupid green light came on, and had no idea what I did differently to get through.

I use the handicap shower at the gym so I can take advantage of the handheld, because the truth is as my flexibility/mobility has declined I really CAN'T reach there to do a proper job. A LOT of people who die early with heart disease could have been saved if they had known about the preventives available. It's often hemochromatosis, which is very treatable but often overlooked., or cholesterol, which meds do for the most part an excellent job of controlling.

I don't think you have to tip in those cases where they are the sole proprietor, but if you do, 20% is certainly fine. If they are charging a dirt cheap rate that is below market but their service is better than that you might want to go higher.

And the use of assisted reproductive technologies in the first place has increased the proportion of people with genetic infertility issues passing them on...there are a lot of candidates to consider before jumping to the idea that socialization is lowering sperm count. But at my high school there was no time to shower at PE and people didn't use them for the most part after sports either...at least the spring sports that I did. Wrestlers probably showered but i didn't wrestle. So i saw exactly 3 naked guys in HS. College my domt had stall showers so most people took off the towel inside the shower.

Virtually nobody used the showers at my high school and my dorm had stalls with curtains, so when someone took a shower after track practice or chose to towel off outside the shower in the dorm, it stood out in my memory. I made out like a bandit in 2001 when it was the dawn of online ticketing and e-kiosks, and they were giving away bonus miles like candy. I was flying cross-country every other week for work, and it was usually a sub-$300 ticket because I had a Saturday night stay, where I would fly 5000 miles and get 22,000, at a time when an upgrade was 5000 miles and a free ticket was 20000. I racked up 450,000 miles in a year and was using them for upgrades for years afterward. So I sort of feel like I got way more than my money's worth already. I think the new programs just aren't really a factor for people who don't fly that much.

Once Continental merged with United and I never got upgrades, I just started paying for first class(which on the routes I most frequently travel, is often not that much more than coach once you've paid to pick your seat plus extra legroom). Basically, I will save my miles until I have enough to make a trip to Australia or NZ in international first, then blow them on that, then start over.
