  1. I really don't understand models and actors, who are supposed to he able to disappear into a role, getting tattoos all over the place. Yes there's makeup but that's an extra hassle and they don't even bother with it most of the time. Sort of how you can't watch a Jack Nicholson movie without being reminded every second that it's Jack Nicholson, distinctive tattoos remind you of the actor and detract from the character.
  2. I think health systems communicate more these days and with prescriptions in general being fine electronically your doctor is probably accessing the same database as your medication provider.
  3. Has any show lost so many of the original leads so young? 3 of the originals died young.
  4. The system as a whole is definitely not making more money because of COVID. Its reducing the number of chemo treatments and all manner of elective procedures that net a lot more money than this pne disease.
  5. They have the highest proportion of eligible people vaccinated. But due to their young population they do not have the highest percentage of population vaccinated. Jury is still out on whether boosters will be needed forever until we can vaccinate the under-12 population.
  6. wtf? I wouldn't count on it being open much longer if that's happening.
  7. Ah, that would explain why his name isn't on the dropdown list for scheduling appointments on their website.
  8. Utopia and Shangrila have online booking now and list the names but they don't have pictures of the guys.
  9. Eh, there is really no denying that older skin generally both looks and feels different than younger skin, with a handful of genetically blessed and diligently maintained exceptions. There are people for whom it's the difference between wanting to meet and not. It's not just about muscle, it's the entire sensory experience. (And the flip side is the younger guys are less likely to know what they're doing which may offset the benefit of their youth to some clients).

    PrEP

The exclusivity period of the one generic of Truvada ended a couple of months ago and now there are something like 10 of them on the market, so the retail cost has plummeted(which is why they can now afford to make it free for everyone).
  11. Basically he annoyed Daddy was my impression of why Avalon got the boot.
  12. How old are you? There's a gay rugby team(maybe two, I can't recall if the second one is till around) and you could join that(they take all levels really) or just start going and watching their matches. NYC has gay flag football and volleyball, not sure if boston has the population to support that as well. Lots of people join these things for just a seaon then hang around for the socials.
  13. What is your life like outside of sex? How is your career? How is your overall health? If you don't have the other stuff together or at least working on getting there, the sex/romance is not likely to be good.
  14. My understanding is they charge less if they can make some money on what you have them take. If she hadn't donated the larger pieces she might have been charged less.
  15. It was the telling his late wife's brother that he hired escorts in the same conversation where he came out that made me start to wonder.
  16. Did anyone ever actually meet him? I gotta say, sometimes a tiny part of me wonders if it was all an extended creative writing exercise.
  17. Yeah, I had the same feeling about Caesar. Years ago on MSS I commented in some thread that I preferred his look before he got into the bodybuilding, and he jumped in and said he was tweaked out on meth during the phase I found attractive. I didn't really understand why he took such umbrage. It's not like all the steroids he was taking were that much healthier....
  18. At some point in the last year or two, Stu did a brief promo for Sean Cody. Made me wonder if part of the deal was taking down his old stuff so it's not as easy to find.
  19. I miss the old days when censors were slower on the uptake and you'd often get to see divers' asses in the underwater camera before they pulled them back up(10m dive generally generates so much force the suit gets knocked down when they enter the water.) But now since it will be blasted across the internet they typically avoid the shots altogether.
  20. Because they were actively excluded. By things like...not hiring them.
  21. I see far more bisexuals complaining about being erased than I see gay people denying they exist. I don't deny that bisexuals exist, I just generally wouldn't pursue a relationship with one because the gravitational pull of societal heteronormativity is a strong detriment to a same-sex LTR when an opposite-sex one is an option for one of the partners. Now that I'm older and past the age where we'd be talking about having kids, that is less of an obstacle. But if I were 25 and met a 25-year old who told me he was bi, I'd probably not pursue an LTR with him unless I were really head over heels for him and he for me. There certainly is a nonzero subset of gay people who use the bisexual identity as a stepping stone, but bisexuals, if decades of my observations in gym steamrooms are any indication, significantly outnumber gay people.
  22. A preference for the race of the person who rings you up at the store is racist. This really isn't that hard.
  23. It's routine. They almost all do it simply to show up in people's searches. Many will then mention their true age or something closer to it in the ad's text. As long as the pictures are current I don't really care.
  24. Did you think you were his only client? Based on his profession alone you should have been on Prep or using condoms if you knew he was fucking other people you didn't know. You wouldn't expect that he was getting tested every week like a porn star. He happens to have had HIV for a while, but really even if he hadn't you were running a high risk by not taking your own precautions. Ten years ago I would have said report him to the authorities, but now that the dirt cheap generic version of prep is out(and I don't understand why that's not being widely publicized) there are no excuses.
  25. There's also a type of hearing impairment that doesn't show up on standard screenings that makes separating sounds out harder. If I'm in a noisy bar I pretty much give up on conversation and nod along. This has been true since I was young.
