there was some stretching - not a lot, and some trigger point.  Could have benefited from some more adjustments to working on a bed, meaning he did some moves that work on a table that don't quite work on a bed.  That said, one of the better massages I've had on a bed.

I am in no way disparaging the quality of his massage - in fact, I was the person who got him into the profession and paid for his training.  He clearly has many years of very satisfied customers and is very skilled.  And he can be a very charming, sweet guy.  But he can also be the guy that many people on here have commented on over the years - someone who just shuts people off instantly, often without them having any clue of why.  Maybe sometimes those people did something that warranted it; often not.  And that's the only reason I commented at all - to say that if that's happened to you, know that you're in a very large group and don't take it personally.   And for all of those commenting that you've only had good experiences - that's great.  Keep going.   I only wish him well.  

“YMMV” is beyond useless. I wish people would stop using this phrase. What OI’d like to hear from my brothers on this site is any information—based on their experience—that they are willing to share about providers. Collectively, we can figure out if they seem to offer different services to different people.

Back in NYC and saw yesterday.  Agree with Medin.  Pleasant enough, very poor massage skills.  Would not repeat.
 

Saw him this week - doing outcalls, on bed.  Very nice guy, and as others have noted gives an excellent swedish-style massage with MT, HE.  Beyond that, YMMV though I sensed after he's tried different things he's set some boundaries he prefers.  I was very satisfied.

Thanks so much!  I really love Masseur Finder and the others.  I hope the implications in my original post showed that I do know  finding an older guy in a parlour is rare, which is why I decided to create a topic listing to do a broader search to see if anyone has specific experience with older guys at any of the parlors (they do).  It's not lost on me that most older guys also probably care more about their reputation and are smart enough to want to keep their own money (which is something younger guys aren't thinking through just yet).  This is the same reason why younger guys are more prevalent in porn, but it also speaks to the larger demand of people who prefer to look at and pretend to be adored by youthful looking people.  One doesn't need to do too deep of a dive to recognize why this is, specifically in America.
