  1. And then you baste generously and often.
  2. San Diego? But I'll follow him anywhere.
  3. Is that what happens when he bends over and coughs?
  4. I don’t know (or care) what sport they play but they’d could start a great orgy.
  5. This cartoon is particularly poignant to me who faced the possibility of a splenectomy to treat my ITP. Luckily two weeks on a handful of cheep antibiotics did the trick.
  6. I wouldn’t mind losing to anyone (or more) of these hunks on NakedKombat.
  7. They had a piano at Rounds? I guess I wasn’t paying attention. Lol
  8. Actually down here in South Texas on the border a piano in a restaurant, even a loud one, would be a relief. What we more often get is a mariachi group with a loud trumpet in your ear.
  9. Well I know. As a NYC banker, Indiana was my territory. In that territory was Baldwin Piano that then owned Bösendorfer. Fast forward and Baldwin is now owned by Gibson, the guitar folks.
  10. I didn't know that Nordstroms sold groceries.
  11. Does anyone remember the old Asti’s Italian Restaurant in Greenwich Village where the wait staff were all voice students. Upon some signal they would throw a red table cloth around their shoulders and launch into the Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore karaoke style while banging rhythmically on every wine bottle an pan within reach. It was a shtick one could appreciate - but only once.
  12. But you really prefer a Bösendorfer don’t you @Benjamin_Nicholas. Although if Bösendorfer is now owned by Yamaha.
  13. The answer is yes and when I find one I run the other way. I can barely tolerate quiet musak while I dine especially if I’m not dining alone.
  14. I think you'd have somewhat better response it this were posted in Forums > Destinations > Africa/Asia/Australia. I've family in Malaysia and visit often but as much as I want to visit the Babylon bathhouse in BKK or take a spin with a muscle guy from the Tawan Bar, I've never made it to BKK. Alas!
  15. My kinda twink but those delts are sexier than those arms.
  16. You’re look’n for what? Toilet paper? Here Handsome!
  17. He can fry my bacon any time!!
  18. OK. I admit. I’m greedy. I’m hoping the fronts are equally as impressive! [swoon]
  19. The Eastside Club is not much better.
  20. I was caring for a Thai friend who became a quadriplegic due to Gullain-Barre. He was in a public hospital. Another friend who is Asian brought him a durian one slow and sleepy Sunday afternoon. Suddenly the hall was alive with activity and men were shouting "Call it in. It as to be a gas leak!" It was surrendered and disposed of forthwith. Interestingly I found some dried durian chips to bring him. I found them odorless but pleasantly sweet.
  21. OK. There’s no Garland gene. Then it must be my refined musical taste arising from my early and extensive study of voice. I guess I’m more moved by talent than by emotional vulnerability. And that dear @WilliamM is what makes horse races.
  22. He’s gorgeous but those are durians he’s cutting. I’m so conflicted.
  23. I WAS and am old enough and was attending BU in the early sixties and I didn’t then and don’t now appreciate was is supposed to be the artistry of Judy Garland. Sorry. It’s just that gene deficiency I guess.
  24. I’m with @latbear4blk. I guess I’m missing that particular gay gene. But I’m also missing the ones for Madonna and Judy Garland as well. Whoo is me!!!
  25. Hopefully not PK. But I DO make judgements as observed in the following conversation I overheard decades ago in the locker room of the old Chelsea Gym at 18th and 8th. Two guys, evidently partners, were discussing their differing ethnicities. The tall handsome and muscular one says “We Italians gave the world Dante, DaVinci, Michelangelo and” at which point and without missing a beat his Nordic partner interrupted with “And the carting industry!” I’ve enjoyed the warmth of many Italian weddings and Christenings courtesy of my buddy Vinnie and his extended family. I’ve spent too many nights at the Met Opera to not love Verdi, Rossini, Bellini, Leoncavallo, Mascagni or Donizetti (but not so much Puccini). I love Tuscany and the Savoy. I entertain dinner guests with a wicked Putanesca or Fra Diavolo sauce (pun intended) or Ed Giobbi’s exquisite Lasagna. What I don’t like are those who debase themselves and their heritage my mimicking the worse traits of their culture. To me they are goombahs and I’ll forego my PC credentials to say so.
