I may have to respectfully disagree with you @E.T.Bass. I dropped in on a friend watching episodes from S4. Interesting I thought. At home I started with S1. I’m 7 or 8 episodes in and finding it difficult to relate to these guys vacuous antics. The eye candy is somewhat compelling but so is porn. But I’ll plug on with dimmed expectations.

FWIW for the live in HD broadcast last Saturday of Akhnaten ARC was diapered for his entrance. Although the Met shared production of Akhnaten with several other companies, I hope it has the right to add it to its on demand library. Although @foxy is correct about the popularity of the countertenor sound, ARC’ innate musicality together with that of N’Jai Bridges, his Nefertiti and the rest of the cast made this a compelling production. And their slow motion smooch was right up there with the Venusberg scene in Tannhäuser in eroticism.

What the hell is so wrong about pie in the morning? Beats the chicken tamales or charizo tacos served around here along the Rio Grand.
