I had my prostate removed in 2017. Deciding which cancer treatment to use was stressful, as it was, of course, MY choice.
1.) I was not a great bottom before the surgery and am not a great bottom today.
2.) My urinary and erectile functions are roughly the same as before the surgery. Of course, no more semen (no mess either), but my orgasm is uneven, that is sometimes it’s less than I remember before the surgery, but often it’s more powerful.
3.) I asked my surgeon (5,000 prostate removals) if my recovery was typical. He said it was, for 80+/- percent of patients, plus my being “young and fit” helped. At the time of surgery I was 57 and 30lbs overweight.
4.) I lost all inhibitions about discussing my sexual concerns with my Dr. He knows exactly how my plumbing works and how to get it to work better. He doesn't care about my sexuality (but he knows I’m gay) other than to help my sexual performance.
Anyway, good luck!
