Well, these responses have been both informative (thanks FTM Zachary) and humorous. Thanks everyone. This was a massage that got really erotic and was most likely safe; I came of age in the '80s and gay meant AIDS and AIDS meant death. I saw a lot of acquaintances die. It was horrific and affected me in ways I don't even know. I suppose this is progress, though. I used to think that the most causal of encounters would lead to AIDS. It was foolish of me. I've always been of the mindset that if you avoid any potentially unsafe contact then you'll be okay. Ultimately, time will tell, I suppose.

it's odd; we're living in a world where if you got to a site to check something out, you'll find an ad for it on your FB page; (let's hope THAT doesn't start happening with massage ads!) I've had a past provider reach out to me ever six months or so asking if I want a massage; but I haven't liked him enough to repeat. It's probably best when the contacting is done by the client.

You have to walk away and not see the person; don't think that you can still see them if the crush is developing and you can control it. You can't. You can't control your feelings, but you can control if you reach out to see the person. I wish I had the answer, but I think it just takes time for crushes to go away. It's not easy, that's for sure.
