Tal Sharone launched a new site (link below) to promote various spa, massage, skincare, barber, esthetician and other service providers. He keeps hounding me to join and pay subscription fees for ad space but I can’t see the value yet. It’s pretty small right now, and for the moment only local to San Diego, LA, and Palm Springs. Wondering what clients think. If a similar site covered your local area, would you use something like this to find your m4m service providers for massage, waxing, and the like?

Simon, I noticed you also have a MasseurFinder website listing but you don't seem to advertise it.  How much business do you get on that site compared to RentMasseur? And do you different business, such as more erotic requests on RM vs MasseurFinder?  I am curious because I was told RM is much cheaper than MasseurFinder  but some providers prefer to exclusively advertise on MasseurFinder. even if it is more expensive - or am I wrong about the cost?  So I am suspecting that a MasseurFinder only provider is strictly for therapeutic only, and no sensual or erotic.

  2. I respectfully disagree with much of this tipping advice, although it would be good to give the tip directly to the hotel maid when you see them.  But then again, I think the tipping culture in the US is getting a little out of control.  Some restaurants are now offering tips of 30%, which is ridiculous.  And it doesn't really resolve any issues of low pay of staff as I am sure owners and managers may not feel that they continue to pay low wages as customers will just tip more.  I don't carry around a lot of cash with me, and this expectation of big tips makes doing anything less enjoyable.  But that's just my opinion...

  3. I've gone both solo and with friends.  Doesn't really matter to me and I don't think it matters to the dancers as they are willing to approach a group as much as a solo. It really depends on how comfortable you feel going solo as you may have no one to talk to and it would be harder for you to ignore a dancer you are not really interested in.  Also if you go with a friend and have a drink, your friend can watch your drink while you do the lap dance (and vice-versa).

  4. Johnsons - $10 for a wristband and $20 per song.  Wristband is good all night.  If you get there before 8 pm, there is no entry fee; otherwise, the fee is $5 every day (they are closed Monday and They started a free entry all night on Wednesday again), and $10 Friday and Saturday.  Dancers usually start in the main room around 8 pm.  The big dancers don't come in until around 10 pm.  There are several Montreal dancers in south Florida for the winter.

  5. Does anyone know if a dance that goes by the pseudo name 'Michael Shaw' is dancing there regularly now?  He posted it on his social media that he danced there this early Feb. but I don't think I am allowed to post his social media on this site, but he is on the BestFlex website.

  6. I'm going this Saturday with a friend.  I think they are advertising a Montreal invasion this month.  I've never gotten a private dance that my friend typically does.  He seems to have disappointed the last few times with the privates as the guys he likes are not as interactive (I suspect because they are hetero).  His recent complaint was that one dancer, who is a bodybuilder, was rude and demanded $150 after three songs - my friend said he gave him $100.   I keep telling myself that I will do a private, and I may well do so, but I would rather a private dance at my place even at the higher price.  I gave one dancer my number and he texted me well after midnight, and I was asleep with my phone off.

Must be a mistake. I get an error message that he's no longer available.

Yes, he's gone today.  But I did see his ad yesterday as well.  I've seen the same issue with some masseurs as well as the MuscleDelite guy that popped up again.  It's put the ad up whenever they have a $ goal to pay some bills and then suspend it when the meet the goal, and then repeat when the need the $ again.

  8. Thanks.  For Campus, is it still $20 Canadian per song for a private dance?  How much is admission?  I've always liked Campus more than Stock Bar.   Is Taboo a strip bar that  features very young dancers and is close to a hotel that rents by the hour (I met up ChristianPowers at that hotel)?  Never heard of Red Diamond/Expose/Luxe, what's the address...  I think I will plan a trip next spring too!

that makes sense given the different demographics of the two cities.
the typical crowd at Johnson’s FTL is many regulars that spend a lot (older guys) and a steady influx of gay tourists visiting FTL.  It’s busy every night they are open. FTL has been Floridas gay destination for decades.  The other two clubs in FTL aren’t really completion for Johnson’s imo.

Johnson’s Tampa will have to survive more as a novelty because the gay money is just not there.  I’d bet that there is some investor that backed the Tampa club - the owner in FTL is way too smart to put his own money there.

Johsnons FTL is like a never ending ATM.  Johnsons Tampa is like someone bleeding out.

I'm guessing he put his money there.  Yes, the Wilton Manors location is probably a gold mine.  He was fortunate to get that location in the heart of Wilton Manors as his previous location in Pompano Beach did not survive.  But the Pompano location was so nice!  And I believe he had locations in Dallas and Atlanta but they did not last either.  What the saying...try and ty again and you will succeed?

I really can’t believe they opened Johnson’s in Tampa & I don’t see how it can be viable there.
Johnson’s FTL works because of the large affluent retired gay community in close proximity to the club - Tampa doesn’t have that.  Also, Johnson’s FTL draws customers from a much bigger metropolitan area including W Palm & Miami - the club is about equal distance from those two cities - Johnson’s FTL doesn’t have similar positioning.  And the overall gay community in S Florida is huge with Johnson’s FTL is located in the epicenter.  Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater gay community is much smaller.

Plus, the dancers all have to be incentivized to go to Tampa given they won’t make the money as they do in FTL.  None of them will want to live in Tampa - it’s not comparable to living in S Florida in any way.

As I noticed on my one visit there, the Tampa had a younger crowd and more mixed (heterosexual) crowd than FTL.  So I guess if they can continue to draw that type of crowd, they may survive - at least for a while.  And since many dancers are hetero, I am not sure they would object to performing at the Tampa location at least once - although they may find out that women may not tip as good as gay men...Tampa's three hours from FTL, so some may like a quick weekend getaway once in a while.

  11. Seems like your idea would depend on whether the strip club gets a cut for each lap dance or charges the stripper a fee to perform.  Does anyone know if they do, such as half of the lap dance charge - I wonder how they would track that unless the dancer had to pay the club bouncer each time, but I did not notice such at Johnson's.  Or as I heard years ago, the stripper had to pay the club a fee to dance, and the fee went up depending on the day and time they perform.  Perhaps each club has a different policy, like maybe Johnson charges each dancer to a fee when they show up plus the $10 wrist band, while maybe LeBoy does not charge the stripper a fee but then makes it up by a $15 fee each time the customer gets a private dance.

I'm certainly not denying your facts.  In fact in San Francisco on Rentmen currently there are:

6 pages of ads for escorts claiming to be 30 or younger.

5 pages of ads for guys claiming to be 30-40 years old; 3 pages of that are men 35 and under, 2 pages men 35-40.

    1 1/2 pages for men aged 40-50.

And less than one full page from age 50 on up.

I think my point is that while this industry certainly favors younger guys, and many guys who do this when they are young adults don't stay in the industry for very long, there certainly is a market for older men providing they not only have qualities that still appeal to their client base but also know how to provide an experience satisfying enough that they have repeat clients.

Yes, and since you are in SF, you must have had many opportunities to meet up with Allen Silver (if he is your type).  I wish he was visited south FL but he told me he only had luck with clients in Orlando and not south FL.  https://allensilver.com/

  13. This is interesting and he certainly has a fantastic body for 58.  I haven't met him, but I'm curious of what he could not perform as he did a vid for HotolderMale.  His twitter used to be public but it is now private ("tweets protected").  He told me that he specializes in edging and getting me to groan, but I didn't set up an appointment as his pictures weren't turning me on despite his nice body.
