I'm wondering if I'm alone in my mini-rant.
It bugs me when I support the site for private gallery access, and I see that a masseur has private pics, but when I click on the 3 that are there, those same 3 are already part of the 6 in the public gallery, or better, when there's 1 private pic, and it's of an empty room, showing his massage table.  I guess my question would be, why bother having a private gallery at all, if it's not at least a different pic of him, even just a different angle?

When in San Diego, I try to go to a particular Chinese place, for a legit full-body.  Typically, I get a younger to middle aged guy, brush cut or flat-top, all fresh-off-the-boat, limited English.  I was in town, stopped by as usual, and I got this very... he looked like a late-30s to early-40s, starting to grey, Chinese surfer dude, complete with slightly wavy, near shoulder-length hair.  Gave me a leg-shaking, up on my knees, all around the hole--including hot breaths and possibly tongue flicks on it, massage.  He was milking me from behind, whispering in my ear, with NO accent, "Is this pressure working for you?", until there was a droplet, when had me get on my back, one hand reaching up to alternately tickle or apply pressure to the crack, while the other delivered the HE.  Asked him for his name at the end, and wrote it down for next time.  I went back about a month later, asked for him, and they had no idea who I was talking about.  I continually asked on the next couple visits, even asking them to look up my history, where they confirmed the name, but no one knew him, although they did have someone by that name at a different location, and they were especially confused when I described him.  One receptionists joked that it may have been another customer on his way out, but she couldn't find any info on the guy.

Maybe we can lure him to a hotel room with bent over twinks and twunks and sneak ourselves in the line up to get a turn…..

@Exploritor, You raised a good question and received many positive answers. Yes, members have been meeting up since the site started. 
The 1st member I met was @jackhammer91406, some 20 years ago. He was visiting NY and posted that he was taking in a show at the Gaiety. I contacted him and arranged to meet. @foxy, another member & now a close friend, also joined us.  I’ve met numerous members from attending the Gaiety and, every Sunday, @ the 20 Club. Some have become close friends. We had a group that traveled together to Montreal, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale etc to take in the different strip clubs. Just this past weekend I was in Fort Lauderdale to meet a couple of members. 
Your location has a lot to do with meeting others. Whenever @Lucky or @glutes are in NYC I can always expect to hear from them.

There's also the whole realm of private GHs.  Look on DoubleList, Sniffies, etc., and you'll find guys at homes and hotels, some with something permanent, like the GarageGH above, and others with a curtain stretched over a doorway.
Why go? 
As the feeder, it could be because your significant other won't give oral, or you've heard guys are better at it (there are some female suckers, but so few cis-women, that you should still assume it's a guy).  You don't want any small talk, you just want a quick mouth, etc.
As the mouth, it could be the chance to suck guys who wouldn't normally let you, or any guy, suck them.  Have you ever been sent the most beautiful dick pics, but all the rest of his pics killed any attraction? GH offers a solution to that.  Same avoidance of small talk as above.
As either, whoever is on the other side, can be anyone you imagine it to be.  I had a friend who had me set up a curtain to try it.  We texted to set it up.  We never spoke, or saw each other, so as far as we know, anyone was on the other side. Maybe he arranged it, but sent a friend from work.  Only think I know was that he was watching straight porn, and struggled to hold in any identifying noises while his legs were violently shaking.

I don't assume every masseur is an escort.  I can see how when people do, that it would be offensive, but I don't think we're really that uninformed, and it seems a bit too sensitive to me.  If someone presents themselves as a certified massage therapist, of either gender, I don't know anyone who instantly assumes "escort/hooker".
If you're a CMT, and strictly therapeutic, I don't expect to find you on rentmen, or even rentmasseur.  I'd expect to find you in a spa, through a gym, or medical venue.  If I'm looking for extras, I'm not making a massage appointment at my chiropractor, and expecting the four-hands treatment and a spit-roasting.  Similarly, even if he listed massage and CMT training on his profile, I wouldn't book Austin Wolf to work on a spasm near L4/L5.
I understand being offended if assumptions have been made, but I also firmly believe that where, and how, you present yourself, is really the determining factor of how you'll be viewed.
Regarding the OP, honestly, most escort ads intimidate me, and I'd rather hook up on my own merits, while I still can.  Masseurs with extras though, I like that I'm actually getting a massage, but knowing it can go further if I like the vibe, and I do go into the appointment hopeful that it will go farther, which I wouldn't do if he was strictly a "masseur".
