Having met him, I can attest to the relative current accuracy of the photo. But you’re missing the point: The photo itself doesn’t do it, on its own, despite writing down a number on a piece of paper and implying that it is proof to settle an argument. It ain’t.

Tip: Anyone can write any date on any piece of piece of paper, so the photo isn’t helpful. Better to hold up a newspaper, which would be an actual date-stamp.

Agreed. Handsome, friendly, talented. Top notch. But his ad disappeared a while ago, unfortunately. Ethan did have a back and forth here with a guy who had clearly confused him with someone else - you could tell by the guy’s ridiculous description of Ethan’s place, which wasn’t even close — and said terrible things. That was pretty bad, and it might have hurt business.

Pope Paul VI introduced the rule to bust-up a sclerotic logjam of Italian conservatives in the College of Cardinals, increasing the chances for the next Pope to be non‐Italian and, possibly, a progressive. The Church needed to keep up with the changing world.

One of his most important moves: Francis’ landmark 184-page climate change encyclical, “Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home,” served as a powerful call to action. Francis preached urgency and compassion. He asked the world’s 1.3 billion Catholics to open their eyes to the connections between the climate crisis, poverty and selfishness.

Francis was the first to be liberal and non-European, so it’s slowly but surely working as hoped. With luck, the next Pope will also be liberal and non-European, building on Francis’ legacy.
