  1. "No time to explain ... just hop on"
  2. A pearl of wisdom from porn goddess Jenna Jameson: "I'm busy canning and fermenting food not because of the coronavirus, but because these damn Bernie zombies just might take over the US."
  3. I got a bit nervous when I heard that local Chinatown businesses are suffering because of fear of coronavirus, even though there hasn't been a single case in Nevada. So I went to Costco to load up. It looked like a regular Friday afternoon, superbusy as always, but no panic-buying. I have enough in my pantry & freezer to last me ~1 month. While I don't expect things will deteriorate to the point where the supermarkets are empty, I do feel more comfortable knowing I have food to last me a while. Hmm, I should have stocked up on Twinkies. They keep for like forever, and in case doomsday hits, I'm guessing Twinkies are prime bargaining material.
  4. Canadian sexting Hello would you like dick pics No thank you OK sorry for offering Thanks for asking first No problem

I'm guessing that he doesn't specialize in the boyfriend experience.
  6. I once ate cottage cheese as a child. I have yet to fully recover from the trauma.
  7. So what if the article was from Business Insider? Did you bother to read the Natkonal Review piece? Or did you lack curiosity?
  8. The Seeking ad sounds like the guy wrote it for shits & giggles while drunk/high. As for your lyin' Paraguayan, glad to hear that he acknowledged how poorly he treated you, honestly, more for his sake than yours.
  9. You should ask yourself the same question. If you have any curiosity, try reading from sources other than leftist pom-pom girls. For example: The American Dream Abides Those who argue that social mobility in America is declining often base their findings on faulty premises. For example, a blanket comparison between generations ignores some relevant factors, such as the much higher divorce rate, the explosion of single motherhood, smaller average family size. Yes, our nation faces barriers to social mobility. One of the most troublesome is the exorbitant cost of college and the consequent burden of student debt. Of course, we need to address such issues. But statements like "Or in another country that actually has social mobility" are really an absurd exaggeration.
  10. *InbestSallyFieldvoice* You like me! You really like me!!
  11. Feel free to present evidence that most money is inherited, that most of the upper class was raised upper class, and that very few Americans move up from the class in which they were born.
  12. I agree with everything you said. Prop 13 causes plenty of other problems, like inadequate local funding for schools because of "artificially" low property taxes. Unfortunately, the beneficiaries of Prop 13 would rip their own gonads out before allowing Prop 13 to be overturned.
  13. Thanks for the pic I think it's safe to assume that not one single reigning Pope of the 266 since Peter looked this good in a Speedo. I was going to say that no reigning Pope has ever worn a Speedo, but who knows what goes on behind the walls of the Vatican.
  14. I think it depends on your concept of a serving. If you're looking for a light snack, then one sleeve is a serving. But if you're thinking more of a meal, then the whole box. Three cookies is a proper serving? Pffft, not even for the mice in my old NYC apartment.
  15. By & large, the SALT cap hurt only the very top income brackets in blue states. As your case demonstrates, most ordinary folks benefited from the doubled individual deduction. How ironic that Schumer, Pelosi, and other blue-state politicians attacked the tax cuts as only benefiting the rich, then turned around & demanded the elimination of the SALT cap, which would only benefit the rich.
  16. According to the largest survey of millionaires ever conducted: "The overwhelming majority (79%) of millionaires in the U.S. did not receive any inheritance at all from their parents or other family members. While one in five millionaires (21%) received some inheritance, only 3% received an inheritance of $1 million or more." "In fact, the majority of millionaires didn’t even grow up around a lot of money. According to the survey, eight out of 10 millionaires come from families at or below middle-income level. Only 2% of millionaires surveyed said they came from an upper-income family." As much as I don't want this thread thrown into P&R, I couldn't let RealAvalon's assertion go unchallenged. Back on topic, congratulations @Kevin Slater! If you do get any marriage proposals, two words of advice: "Pre" and "Nup"
  17. But since the SALT cap is $10K, isn't all $9100 deductible off your federal tax return?
  18. As always, very good advice from Benjamin Nicholas. Aside from avoiding financial ruin, I would avoid the bloodsuckers because there's gotta be something seriously wrong with them. Maybe they're way too desperate, or way too selfish, or way too narcissistic, or way too ... whatever the hell it is, best to stay as far away from them as possible. It sounds like you're happy with a few of your regulars, so good for you.
  19. It's been a while since I watched the show, but my old flatmate used to make fun of me for watching "Quantum Leap." She said that the only reason I watched it was hunky Scott Bakula took his shirt off in every episode. When I insisted it was a good show, she shot me an "oh, come on" look. OK, yeah, guilty as charged.
  20. Maybe there's an accountant among us who can verify, but isn't there a $10,000 rule? That is, any transaction involving more than $10,000 must be reported to the IRS. For example, you can buy a $9,000 car under the radar, but if you pay $11,000 for a car, the IRS automatically gets notified. Obviously, there is no way you could buy a house/condo without raising red flags at the IRS.
  21. Sometimes it's better to just ignore the woke-scolds.
  22. I went to the local Walgreens today to pick up a prescription and just so happened go walk through the Valentine's chocolate aisle (the pharmacy is in the back corner). *cough* *sputter* *gasp* It was almost empty!! What the heck happened to all the heart-shaped boxes of half-price chocolate?! The only thing left on the shelf were heart-shaped Hostess Ding Dongs (I kid you not). Oh well, spared myself all the calories.
  23. This question does make me wonder which is more common: escorts turning into sugar babies or sugar babies who become escorts. I'm guessing that the former is awfully common whereas the latter, at least in formal and official terms, somewhat rare. Who knows?
  24. Maybe it's more that they gotta make hay while the sun shines. The season in South Florida is short, November to the end of March. After that, most of the moneyed class goes back to their northern abodes. Of course, FL has plenty of year-round residents, but those are working stiffs, not money-to-burn types. Hopefully a South Florida native chimes in here to give us the scoop.
  25. Experts: a serving size of chips is 10 chips Real-life humans: I eat 10 chips while standing in the pantry with the bag open, trying to decide if I want to eat chips
