  1. it really is a weird situation that the judges and people running the sport seem to harbor a lot of homophobia. Maybe it's internalized? I guess that is changing which is a good thing. But the fact does remain that all of those guys who came out did so after their competition careers were over. It's no small thing that he and Radford are out. I suppose it also could be that they are so completely focused on training that skaters don't have time to deal with every aspect of themselves. While he is a bit overexposed at this moment, I say good for him. He saw his opportunity and seized it. The inevitable backlash arrived with it. But he seems to have handled that pretty well. The fact also remains that these guys are better at this particular thing than 99.9999999% of people. And he's got an Olympic medal (no matter how tainted some here want to make it) which very few people have. He's put in a lot of work over a very long time to get there. I won't begrudge him that. I think he knows that the sport as competition has passed him by. He'll be popular in ice shows for a few years and then he'll need to figure out what he wants to do next. I don't mind that he's a little girly. But I do find his supreme overconfidence a bit off-putting.
  2. interestingly enough "agota.com" redirects to the right place
  3. I thought it was something like 50%. I used to enjoy it more but then it got too commercial and everyone has one of those vibrating butt plugs. Still some exhibitionists doing it for fun but not so many. All of those sad Russian and E. European guys who seem to have no other options. But plenty of horny Colombians with their giant cocks to even things out. I almost met a local guy once...cute kid with a spectacular body, but something just seemed a bit off about him so I didn't follow through. We negotiated a reasonable fee though.
  4. unfortunately there is no way. I sent a note/complaint about the new format to their customer service. This was the reply: Hi there, We really appreciate your feedback! We will collect all the feedback we receive and evaluate/incorporate all of the best things to make HUNQZ even better for you. For now, you need to change location, to find Escorts in a specific locations, like Lille, Brussels or Rotterdam. We work already on the Travel Icon on top, the world symbol, where you can in future search escorts on different locations, without changing own location. In the meantime, we’ve put together a quick FAQ to help you through the current Escorts to HUNQZ transition. Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions: Q: Can I still use the old 'Classic' website for Escorts? A: We’re sorry to say that we’ve moved all Escort functions to the new HUNQZ section of the new PLANETROMEO website. When you click any of the Escort links on the old Classic website you will be transferred to the new website where all Escort features are found in the new Escort/HUNQZ section where you see the Q icon in the top menu (in the menu on mobile devices.) Except for Escorts/HUNQZ, you can still use the Classic website for your Romeo profile, but for the best overall experience we suggest using the new PLANETROMEO website. Q: How does it all work on the new website? A: We’ve tried to make things as easy as possible using icons (pictograms), so in most cases all you have to do is move your mouse over an icon in the top menu and a tip will pop up letting you know what that icon is for. A couple exceptions are the filters, settings and username search. ● Filters - you will find under the slider icon in the upper-left corner (it looks like two vertical sliding levers on a mixing board). ● Settings - you will find under your mini profile pic in the upper-right corner (a menu will open where you can find all settings). ● Username Search - you will find to the left of your mini profile pic and it looks like a magnifying glass. ● If you ever get lost just click the PLANETROMEO logo in the upper-left corner and it will bring you back to the main screen. Q: How do I search for Escorts/HUNQZ on the new site? A: Click the Q icon in the top menu and you’re in the HUNQZ section. Once you’re in there, you can choose to see HUNQZ by categories like NEW (fresh new faces), DISTANCE (closest by to farthest away), INTERESTS (massage, tops, versatile, companionship, etc.), and POPULAR DESTINATIONS (Berlin, Paris, London, Amsterdam, and several more.) If you know an escort’s profile name, use the magnifying glass as described above and type the name in the box provided. Q: How do I search for a HUNQ by location? A: If you’re looking for a HUNQ that is in a different location than where your profile is currently located, you will need to change your location to the location where you want to find the Hunq. Q: Where are my Escort Favorites? A: On the new website you will find all of your Favorites (Contacts and HUNQZ) by clicking the chat bubble icon in the top menu - second icon from the left. Click ‘Contacts’ and All of your saved contacts are displayed. You can also choose to see only HUNQZ by clicking ‘All’ then choose the ‘HUNQZ’ category. Q: Where did all my Escort Guestbook entries go? A: Guestbook entries have been reintroduced as Reviews and imported to the HUNQZ profile where you left it. If you have left multiple entries for a Hunq, only your last entry for that Hunq was imported, and can be found in the ‘Reviews’ section of their profile. Guestbook entries for Romeos have not been introduced at this time. We realize that it may take a little getting used to the new site, but we’re convinced that once you do, you’ll love the new features and functionality. Kind regards, PLANETROMEO
  5. I think all of the above are correct. Gay bars in general are disappearing in many places. But the internet and the availability of nude performers on sites like Chaturbate where you can see tons of guys performing for free is probably the biggest reason. You can interact with them in some ways, but obviously not a tactile way. However many people in strip bars don't get to touch anyway.
  6. I've never had a lot of interest in cruises, but have been thinking more about a river cruise lately as have many of my friends. I did do a short 2 night Mekong cruise in Laos a couple of years ago which I really enjoyed for the most part. It was me and about a 15 elderly Japanese people plus their perky tour guide. Very laid back. We only sailed during the day and tied up at night. Incredible sunsets and sunrises. But that was such a small boat that I don't think it really compares to a European river cruise. When it comes to Europe I tend to prefer to spend more time in one place.
  7. sorry to resurrect this ancient thread.... I don't find Swampy to be all that much worse or better than any other giant airport. There are moving walkways to help you get around. Frankly I found DXB to be pretty horrible too on my one and only experience there. Also a very large airport where things are far apart from each other. Probably on-par with places like FRA which can certainly also mean some very, very long walks depending on where your gate is. As for hotels in the gay part of town I think the main ones have been mentioned. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Lumpini a couple of years ago and generally liked it except for the need to use two elevators to get anywhere. It's right around the corner from the Sala Daeng BTS station or the Silom MRT. And the walk to Soi Twilight or Tawan further along is not too bad. Other places to consider are the other direction down Silom like Pullman Hotel G or 222 Silom. The walk from there to Tawan is not too bad other than crossing one big road but you can take the overpass to do it.
  8. their prices seem very reasonable and those are some vert cute twink-y boys. wonder what all of these "heterosexual" guys will do
  9. this whole world is very interesting... I'm still not convinced it's worth $90/month for the SA membership. I did pay $50 for 6 months on the Sudy Gay app. We'll see how it goes. I prefer to meet local guys rather than some sort of long distance thing where there's not likely to ever be an in-person meeting. I had one guy in NY that I messaged back and for with. He wanted $100 per "extended interaction" i.e. conversations online or sexy pics. Honestly? I can get all of that for free all over the internet.
  10. interesting. DIfferent strokes I guess. He's certainly not unattractive, but Bel Ami has hundreds of better-looking guys imho.
  11. entrance in the rear seems appropriate
  12. sorry to resurrect this thread...but if you haven't seen last night's Riverdale look it up on VOD. Archie joins the wrestling team and they wear the most ridiculous singlets. Tons of skin. A new character who is a webcam boy. Directed by Gregg Araki I forgot how totally absurd this show is. But OMG the eye candy! http://www.newnownext.com/riverdale-wrestling-archie-singlet/01/2018/
  13. adorable little twinks. Too bad they're in such big trouble over this dumb little video
  14. I agree that memberships and special offers can save you a lot of money. I find that BJ's wholesale club's travel portal saves me a lot on car rentals. They have lots of special coupons and things in addition to their special rates. Costco should have similar offers. AAA also has coupons. I used to find the best deals using the Chase Ultimate Rewards travel portal that's linked to one of my credit cards, but their rates aren't as good as they used to be. I just paid $180 for a week renting at Tampa airport using Hertz. Joining the car company frequent renter programs can be useful too. I was able to skip the line and go right to my car. You can skip all of the insurance and add-on hard sell that way. Another way to save money is to use a location that is not located at or near the airport. That way you don't have to pay all of the airport-related fees that municipalities charge tourists. You'd just need to factor in cab or Lyft fares to and from.
  15. as some one who had terrible acne during my teen years and have had it popping up on my chin for the last year, I can say it's not easy for everyone to get rid of. The dermatologist I visited recently suggested that most adult acne has a dietary cause...most likely sugar. He prescribed some insanely expensive topical cream that doesn't seem to be making much difference for me. I have had some success with tea tree oil, but even that doesn't work consistently As to whether it's a turnoff...depends how severe and the location
  16. I have not. But maybe I will. Maybe the owner needs all of that extra money to upgrade the servers. :-)
  17. it also shows way too many profiles that are either deleted or otherwise don't open Not particularly encouraged to spend any money on this
  18. their website sure is painfully slow. Does it speed up if you go premium?
  19. Anybody using any of the various Sugar Daddy mobile apps? I downloaded this one called Sudy Gay. They seem to have a bunch of similar apps for straights (I think the company is HK based). For some reason this particular app disappeared from the Google store the day after I installed it. It appears to be fairly popular judging by the number of guys listed. Unfortunately you have to pay to be able to do even the most basic things like send and read messages as a daddy. And it looks like because it is not available on the Play store anymore you can't even pay if you want to since Google throws up an error message. They claim to be fixing the problem. They also have a verification system but they want you to send them a copy of your photo ID which seems completely insane to me. I am sure there are other apps out there. Any favorites?
  20. For me the Law of the Strip Club is that the guys you are least interested in will be all over you asking for "a dance". Especially as fresh meat they will try to get you to go with them. As noted above, if you're not interested just say so early in the proceedings. Part of the fun for me is the people watching. So I tend to hang toward the back and watch what's going on for a while. I agree also that having some one to show you the ropes can be helpful, but just by observing you will pick up a lot. Between the two I always enjoyed Campus more. The guys were more my type and it's more intimate. Stock is enormous and just feels more impersonal in a way. But it's easy enough to try them both out. Make sure you and the dancer are always aware of the number of songs if you do go for a private dance. I always found it helpful to keep count after each song "That's one song, right?" "That's two. How about one more?" Or if you know up front what your budget is just say so "Let's do three". I haven't been to either in a while, but from what I recall the lap dance area at Stock was more private. Others who have been recently will be better at telling you about the current state of play. A lot of what goes on in a private depends on chemistry.
  21. it's my favorite part of the world. Saw reference to Uber above. There's been a lot of controversy over it in Bangkok. But Grab is the local/Asian version that works very well. There is Grab Taxi and Grab Car (as well as motorbike taxi if you're interested in that). It worked very well for me in Bangkok and Singapore recently. You can just go with the regular car which can be just about anything (I had Honda Fit and a Nissan pickup truck) or also premium car for a few bucks more. In Singapore I did premium since it wasn't much more expensive and had a very luxurious Toyota van, 5 series BMW and Volvo XC90. Or if you do Grab Taxi you get a regular taxi. But you know the cost upfront. Lots of excellent hospitality all over SE Asia.
  22. I've had pretty good luck with the massage "spa" places in HK. I use gayHK.com to look them up. I went to Aloha Spa a couple of times on my most recent trip. Good service, hot little guys. The first guy I met spoke excellent English so it was nice to carry on an actual conversation.
  23. Perhaps they didn't really like him much anyway (not hard to believe since he comes across as such a prick).
