I've been sadly disappointed in my recent SA interactions. Just so many scammers. It gets tiring. I did meet one local guy who is very nice and interesting to talk to, but he doesn't appear interested in any physical interaction. And one other boy I'm smitten with that I am trying to reel in, but his sister's BF has covid so the whole family had to quarantine for a couple of weeks. So we'll see if that ever works out. A lot of guys in India for some reason these days in addition to all of the Colombians and Argentines. It always seems the guys I am most interested in are far away. One hottie in Iowa that is my perfect physical type for example. I have been half considering taking a trip! For some reason the website isn't working the last couple of days. I got bounced out yesterday and when I try to login it tells me that I need to do 2FA, but that it's not available so try tomorrow. Since the mobile app doesn't let you read much of a profile the website is useful

I've never had the balls to make any overt moves like this. But traveling frequently in Asia I've had a few service guys who I think might have been reachable. One guy in Siem Reap at a very high end hotel who was very sweet. I spent a lot of time chatting with him at the front desk. He was very service oriented and even accompanied me to a restaurant nearby so he could give the tuk tuk driver directions. Everyone else on the staff seemed to know exactly what was going on but I guess we were both a little too shy to go very far. In Thailand I recall having a cute fairly obviously gay boy come to my room when I was having trouble getting the TV to work. A young guy in remote Cambodia was very interested in finding out why I was traveling alone and was surprised to hear I wasn't married. Sadly I was leaving the hotel right after breakfast (where I encountered him). I felt a bit sad for him that he was stuck in the middle of nowhere. And a couple of very cute guys at hotel in Sri Lanka. I think the hotel employed mainly guys who were studying hospitality management. One was working mainly in the restaurant wearing a nice sarong that really showed off his ass. And the other did cleaning and other general tasks. He was adorable and I was quite smitten. I had to ask him to show me how the shower worked as it was oddly complicated. And he made nice elephants out of towels for me. If I'd been staying longer maybe I could have reeled him in. Ah, what might have been.

Yeah, I use the filter and check the filtered outs occasionally. Works pretty well for me. I've had a few that I've been messaging with a good bit. I took a couple of them to text messages after a couple of days so we could talk about particulars. One hottie and I negotiated for a bit. And then he told me that the amount I was offering was "much less" than some other guys were offering and that it wouldn't be "fair" to the others if he agreed to my offer. I didn't ask what they were offering but told him that he knows how to reach me if he changes his mind. Another guy who is close-ish (about 35 mins away) seems to be agreeable. But we're basically in a holding pattern for the time being. One more guy I've been trading a lot of messages with but we haven't talked about money or activities other than saying we'd like to meet each other at some point. I'd say the number of attractive (to me) guys seems much higher and the messaging has been easy with most of them. But there are a couple of were around for a few days and then haven't been back for a week or more. When it comes time to actually meet we'll see what happens. For sure lots of South Americans in addition to the usual Europeans and Brits.

I meant lots of new boys signing up because they're bored. I've been trading messages and texts with a handful. The Colombians from Colombia approaching me...I dunno. But it does suck that the phone app no longer allows you to read the full profile. So no one knows I am looking for locals only

There seem to be a never-ending supply a "luxury" apartments and condos in the city. I imagine for a sports fan it would be great to be across the street from Audi Field and a block from the baseball park. Metro stop is a short walk away. But with spectator sports on hold for the foreseeable future the new developments will probably be slowed down a bit. The plans for the whole "Buzzard Point" area is for apartments and condos and development of the whole waterfront around to the Wharf area.

They've all been photographed a million times already. So things just keep progressing until you get to nudity. Many do have onlyfans or just take cashapp or venmo donations. Some who don't post nudes publicly sell their adult content. A couple of twinks who have pretty big followings on Twitter have sold me their videos and pictures. One asked lots of questions about seeking.com and the whole sugar baby thing. Unfortunately (for me) he has a BF so he wasn't really interested in any sort of sexual relationship - but if I wanted to take him and the BF to dinner he was interested. But that wasn't something I had any interest in. At the moment they're all lonely and depressed and horny. So I think that's led to even more sexual content than there already was. It's funny that Twitter claimed they were going to try and clean up the adult content a while back. That (luckily) turned out to be a pretty dismal failure.

with all of the free porn in the world I don't really see the point. I used to get lots of sad stories but not so much recently for some reason. I always spend Thanksgiving alone. And most other days too. :-) Long ago I had a tradition of going to a museum (the Smithsonians are open) and a movie. But I stopped doing that. Maybe I'll revive it some day.

$300 a night does seem high for Bangkok. But for sure the cost of living has been rising there for the last few years and it's not quite as cheap as it used to be.

I think that these issues are coming up all over the world with respect to Airbnb. The last couple of times I visited Montreal I stayed at a little place called Studio Living. It's a duplex house that was converted into 4 apartments and run as a BnB of sorts. But you have your own self-contained apartment with kitchen and so forth. The PBS film is excellent. I think it's about 10 years old now. Although because of the lack of contemporaneous visuals they do end up using the same photos over and over. However the interviews with people who were there are great.

2 days is not much time, especially if you have to deal with jetlag at all. Lots of websites with sightseeing ideas out there. If it's your first time the Grand Palace is worthwhile, just be careful of the "it's closed today" scammers - although I think there's been a bit of crackdown on them in recent years. While you're in the neighborhood Wat Po is also worth a visit. I always say I love the chaos of Bangkok, but frankly even that has lost some of its luster in recent years. As for massage, there are lots of places. Depends on the kind of guys you like and your budget to an extent. And it's frequently a matter of chemistry with the masseur in any event.
