2. I was going to say something about uncle dad and cousin mom but realized that's West Virginia, not Kentucky.
3. This week's completely random supermarket out-of-stock item was fennel seed. In fact, ALL of the spices had been cleared out at the huge Safeway up near the Billtmore District. Meanwhile, my dinky little Safeway in downtown Phoenix had all sorts of spices, including fennel seed.
4. Oh, I am NOT talking about canned white asparagus! The store doesn't carry it. I've seen white asparagus in a jar, but not a can. I am talking about canned green asparagus. That said, I don't eat mayonnaise-based products, including hollandaise, so that's a series of additional packets for you. I'm not morally opposed to it, just don't like it.
5. I noticed only because the entire canned goods aisle was cleared out. Last month I bought canned green beans (guilty pleasure) and noticed canned asparagus. The supermarket (Safeway) also had two kinds of canned zucchini - Italian style and plain. Never had I seen canned zucchini. Sounds equally disgusting as canned asparagus. Methinks the canned zucchini will be tossed at the same time as the canned asparagus.
6. Eventually, canned goods go bad and hand sanitizer loses its potency. It, too will go to waste. PS: The cans of asparagus that people have hoarded will NEVER be eaten.
7. In fairness, this isn't limited to gay men. Straight people were going out until venues were closed.
8. Not sure what it is supposed to be. It doesn't inspire me! Maybe it is the entertainment media attempting to be relevant?
9. My brother is five years younger than me and straight. I'm gay. Then again, everyone thinks I'm the younger one, so...
10. Hey, thanks for posting this. One of my all-time favorites. This is one of the songs that cheers me up when I'm having a bad day.
11. Kenny Rogers has died. He was 81 years old. Here is the story from Rolling Stone.
12. My favorite jockstrap. Are you alone?
13. There's an SNL sketch for every occasion!
14. I'd expect to pay the escort's hourly rate in units of one, ten, or fifteen minutes. For example, if an escort typically charges $300/hour he would charge $5 per minute.
15. Wondering whether this is an RM glitch because I've seen several ads where the same pic is repeated.

That's exactly what I've done and it works great.
17. The charges were later dropped. His daughter showed symptoms of an STI, she was taken to a doctor, and it was diagnosed as such. He claimed that the police automatically suspected and charged him due to his past.
18. That's precisely why I wouldn't use the Penney's catalog! PS: I believe it was a Montgomery Ward catalog or newspaper insert in which there was a VERY visible outline of a guy's penis.
19. Before going to full-time remote work I worked remote two days per week. While both of the cats have very loud meows, Linus is more vocal than Lucien and my colleagues are accustomed to Linus speaking up. Yesterday, someone asked me my opinion and, almost on cue, Linus let out a very loud and aggressive meow. We all laughed and the call moved forward. In the meeting miunutes, the project manager indicated that Linus attended the call and joined the majority in not approving of the recommended solution.
20. The Field Museum of Natural History, which is located adjacent to the Shedd Aquarium, posted the following: Sue, for those who don't know, is one of the largest tyrannosaurus rex specimens. It was discovered by Sue Hendrickson, after whom it was named.
21. It really is cool. They are asking folks what they want to see on the aquarium's Twitter feed. The Shedd has come a long way since I was a kid. Definitely have to go when I'm in Chicago again.
22. I also have stomach issues, but I can manage it through diet and hydration, unlike with IBS. My dad saved the last three issues of the Sears catalog for me (I don't know why he thought I'd want it) and I still have them. The value for that stuff has fallen, so despite Sears the company not being worth sh$#, their catalogs might very well be!
23. In 1999, the City of Chicago mounted a massive public art exhibit called "Cows on Parade." It was brought back last year for the 20th anniversary of the exhibition. This year, the closed-due-to-the-coronavirus John G Shedd Aquarium let the penguins roam around and posted video on their Twitter feed. I'm calling it "Penguins on Parade." Here's Wellington and his friends Edward and Annie The Shedd hosts "penguin encounters" where visitors can get up close and personal with a penguin. Next time I'm in Chicago I will be sure to swing by and "encounter" them.
