I have wondered if this isn’t laziness but a ruse to make clients think they are locals. Some clients prefer locals because: 1) they are worried a traveling provider will pack so many appointments into the trip that their performance will suffer: 2) they believe that traveling providers are more likely to short time or otherwise provide unsatisfactory service because they are leaving town soon; and 3) if you like a local provider future appointments are more easily available.

I think he is primarily a weekday guy because he lives out in the burbs. Maybe it doesn’t make sense to come in for one appointment on the weekend but yeah that doesn’t excuse the spotty communication.
