  1. And of course the dragons.
  2. Have you spoken with your brother in law about your sexual preferences? Sounds as though he may be a good sounding board in your approach to your discussions with your sons. As for living alone, when my wife died, I really did not live alone as I had 7 dogs which required regular care. When I ate, I never ate alone, I had 14 pairs of eyes staring me down, when I went to bed, I had to fight for a place to rest my weary body. Even with all that company, it was still a difficult transition. No one to come up and distract you just at the moment you wanted to be distracted. No aimless walk around the house ending in a 15 minute conversation which is more about talking with someone you love than it is about talking about something. No one to blame when there are dishes in the sink, cabinet doors left open, lights on all night or the garbage not going out. There can be too much silence, too much introspection, too much time alone, too much yearning. Those things are in your control and eventually, you find your rhythm. You will find the pleasures which fill the spaces and give your life a different feel. I have not doubt, a man who expresses the warmth and integrity you have shown on this forum, will be scooped up by some lucky man who is praying to meet you. I would not be concerned about your time alone. I would savor it while you have it. I believe that by this time in 5 years, you will have sons, and in-laws, and possibly grandchildren in your life and you will also have a man and the trial tribulations and wonders which come with that. My advice is this: Take a deep breath. Eat at the kitchen table with some enjoyable music playing in the background. Get laid a lot. Prepare for the adventures of the second part of your life. You are not alone when you are just by yourself, you have family, friends and memories and as important, you have a lifetime ahead of you.
  3. He has a nice body but have you considered Mr. Baldwin for you wrestling fantasy needs?. If you have not, watch some of his wrestling tapes and see if that is what you have in mind.
  4. You are jaded. You know what small problems are? Other people's problems.
  5. Probably a bit too rich for my blood though I have done overnights for less than that. So probably not.
  6. I know two people who crossed the street and got hit by a car. So we should recommend that people not cross the street? No matter our genetics, we have choices. No matter our personal circumstances, we have choices. No matter how impoverished financially, spiritually, physically, we have choices. Others have overcome struggles we can not even imagine because they realized they had choices and they made them. Wallow or opt for change. Look for help and helpers, or blame a family curse. The option is yours. Choose wisely. Choose success. And in the immortal words of the t shirt that clung to George Micheal's young, firm, hairy chest Choose Life. ttps://
  7. Depression is something which one should not deal with alone. Seek out medical help. The combination of depression and alcoholism can be deadly. Again, seeking help is the first step. You may find that by stopping your self medication with beer, which in itself is a depressant, you may start to see solutions to other life crises. Support groups, such as AA may give you guidance in facing the difficulties which have led to alcohol being such a strong force in your life. In addition, AA may serve as one way of starting to connect on a social level. Only you can take the first step. You may be surprised how many people will reach out the hoist you up once you stretch out a hand and ask for help. It may be a long journey, but please take the first step.
  8. Found this quote in the comments section of a YouTube Version of Unchained Melody. Some questioned the veracity of the post, even after one of the respondents posted part of the obituary of the original poster of the statement. I am siding with the romantics rather than the cynics. "I am 98 yrs. old I lost my wife of 73 yrs. 4 yrs.ago. This has become my favorite song since then even though it makes me cry!!!"
  9. And while you are listening to the Righteous Brothers' Station do not forget:
  10. When it comes to the blue eyed soul of the Righteous Brothers, I prefer this great song. It is not as popular as UnChained Melody, but it a great song with which to sing along as you are driving along at 85 MPH. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjuaVo74meY
  11. Actually there are very many, but the first time I remember trying to figure out my sexual interests was watching the movie Lil Abner. Julie Newmar as Stupefying Jones was breathtaking and certainly got all the juices flowing. Then later in the movie, when the men of Dogpatch are given the yokumberry tonic, which has made Abner so hunky, and they come out in bathing suits to see their wives (and show no interest in their wives, leading to the song, Put 'Em Back the Way They Was) they sent the juices flying. Notice Valerie Harper as one of the wives and Jerry Lewis as Itchy McRabbit in the Stupefying Jones clip. Ms. Newmar continued to be bate material in a TV series, My Living Doll.
  12. I have wanted to see Fallingwater and now it will move up on my list of places to see. Maybe that long drive will lead to the conversation you are going to inevitably have with each of them. Life is change and is seems you are doing a lot of living right now.
  13. Already renewed for a second season.
  14. Lets face it she was a cunt, not a word I use with any regularity but which seems totally appropriate here. She wasn't an ass. She wasn't a dick. She was a cunt. That alone does not mean she needs to go to jail, but it does put her one step from having the barred door slap her on the ass.
  15. A man is standing on a ledge and considering suicide and then turns to leave the ledge and is told. Coward. Get back on the ledge. Why are you chickening out. You said you would do it. You need to get back on that ledge and jump. Just because she was not there, she was bullying him and using her knowledge to not only encourage but to insist on his completing a self destructive act. She did not hold a gun to his head, but she was in his head and screaming for him to die. The sentence is too light as far as I am concerned. Letting her walk free is an abomination. At the least, a psychiatric evaluation and mandatory hospitalization should have been enforced. If I was on a jury for this case, we would still be sitting there, because there is nothing that can be said that would convince me that this wasn't a homicidal act.
  16. http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4161/1545/400/brady_blog2.1.jpgBrady Anderson I could not find one in leopard underwear so you win on style points (and extra credit for Kapler's big bulge) but I think Brady gives him a hard sweaty fight for the title of sexiest baseballer.
  17. Well to paraphrase Tormund: You have to make do. (Said after Jon Snow points out that there is not a live woman within hundreds of miles)
  18. Gendry was voted most likely to get fucked by the other 6.
  19. I did not realize that Life was into showing guys in the shower. I would have thought that more for Look.
  20. Once you have a dog, it is inconvenient to not be able to just take off and travel or stay out late working or partying. I have four. They are a great reason to stay home and a great excuse to avoid staying late at work or going out when I would rather be in bed. I do need to shape my life around them, but that shape turns out to be a heart.
  21. Dragonstone is an island I believe, so they would have to leave there by boat. Though Winterfell is a quite a bit inland, so it seems it too far out of the way considering the time constraints.
  22. Imagine Dragons being turned into White Flyers. Would they spew fire or ice?
  23. I also caught the annulment mention. Littlefinger is definitely trying to use the Stark women against each other. He killed their crazy aunt without hesitation. Where is the mentally slow Lord of the Aerie? As for Gendry, he would make a better match for Arya and they know each other. On their trip north, wouldn't Jon and his party have to come near Winterfell. Would have thought he would have stopped, had a reunion and told of his plan. Perhaps they knew a shortcut. I have to say, both Arya and Bran have been made very coarse by the rode of their life, while Sansa still has a bit of softness about her, despite her fierce work ethic and natural strategic abilities. He road has been just as hard, if not harder than her sister's, but she has maintained some greater touch of humanity. Maybe that will pass.
  24. You got the burning part right
  25. Well I knew Dickon Tarly was hot, but on tonight's episode he was hotter than hot. I do wish it had been him that had save Jaimie and then Jaimie thanked him by offering him a ride on his golden hand. Ah well. All in all a pretty satisfying episode tonight. Quite the Motley Crew going north from the wall. Kind of reminds me of the crew you see in the 3 Train at 4 AM on an early Sunday morning in NYC. 2 Bastards, 1 who was left for dead and 2 who were raised from the dead, 2 who had been horribly deformed, 3 would be kings, 4 that I imagine as power bottoms and most outrageous of all,, a ginger.
