I feel a reminder is warranted, especially for any newbies out there:  NEVER, EVER PAY A DEPOSIT OR PAY UPFRONT PRIOR TO SESSION.  One of our own has made this error recently and it deserves a reminder. 
Providers:  Please do not ask for a deposit or payment prior to session.  I know there are creep customers who try to take advantage, or are no-shows and waste your time.  The same can be said for some of you, although the vast majority I've encountered have been fair and forthright.  We can all succeed in what we want both as a client and as a provider; just both sides play fair, be nice, hygenic and most of all have fun!

If a provider waits until you arrive to tell you that they expect payment 
upfront, you’re already in for a crappy experience. Acquiescing to their sudden
request for payment up front isn’t going to change that. The date is already
fucked up and I refuse to reward shady business practices. 
I’ve never had someone ask for $$ upfront and had it end well. Yes,
after I politely say "no thank you" I fully expect them to turn tail and 
leave. The scam has been exposed. They have nothing to gain. 
I have agreed ahead of time to showing the $$ on arrival. There is a
small risk in that I’ll admit, but I’m a fairly large/strong man and it’s one
I am sometimes willing to take. Especially, if I get the vibe that the request
is in earnest. I’m not saying that it can’t happen, but I’ve never gotten
burned in that scenario. 
I have no problem with escorts who say they require the money upfront,
as long as they tell me ahead of time. I will politely decline the appointment
and move on to the next provider. I wish them no ill will. It is their business
to run as they see fit. Unfortunately, I will not be one of their clients.
If that pisses them off…..I know I just dodged a bullet.

I did the majority of my hiring back in the days when there were no Internet escort sites. Instead, there were print ads in magazines, like the Advocate's pink pages, or I simply called an agency and told them what I was looking for. There was less choice, but it made the choices easier.

Please, excuse my naivete.  I've been scrolling through RM and am absolutely gobsmacked at the number of male escorts, just in his country alone.  I never thought there were this many men out there willing to offer themselves as escorts.  Am I really this naive or has this always been the norm?  

Or we don’t have to respect the request and find another provider who isn’t requesting a deposit.
