I don't share your assumptions.  I cannot imagine being a customer of any business -- and that includes a man working independently as a masseur -- and asking them to give me something for my birthday unless they advertise that they do that for customers.  (For example, both Peet's and Starbucks give their regular customers free birthday drinks.)  I have had "regulars" offer me something special for my birthday, but those offers were unsolicited by me.  

For $250 at just a smidgen over an hour, extras not happening is highway robbery. I understand he probably has to pay rent for the studio, yada yada. I'm sure if one has a body like that hot guy getting muscle stimulation therapy on his bare ass in Daniel's social media, extras are a given.

You have to text his number to communicate with him. I believe the reason he does this is to prevent the site owners from reviewing the exchange between his clients and himself. The massage services he states via his cell chat are not what he does in the actual session. He has one negative review on his page and that being he states upcharges once you arrive that are not mentioned via the cellphone text exchange.
I did not complete my session with this therapist and would just say Beware of this therapist.

I met with him. His picture is heavily beautified by AI maybe. It's his face but he's older in person. He has actual real massage skill. But HE requires 50 extra which did not mention in the text message. And he asked me during the process while holding...I am pretty sure there are people who don't like this approach. He wears no cloths during the session, uncut good size from Rus. 

AVOID. Total scammer.  

Some people said the massage was average and would t repeat. He goes by two different names.

He, too, hosts in downtown Miami so parking can be a pain.  However, I've been seeing him for years and he takes care of me:  I let him know my license plate and parking Zone# when I arrive, and he takes care of the parking "app" for me.  I tip him, of course, but it's part of making for an overall relaxing experience.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. It was slim pickings when I visited couple years ago. 

I saw Doug recently and was thoroughly impressed with his deep tissue kneading skills: it's top notch, and working as a masseur at high end spas really shows with each kneading stroke. He not only offered free hotstone add on, but added 30 more mins as I was a first time client: compared to what I would pay at a high end spa, I probably paid a good 35% to 50% less with Doug. Needless to say I tipped him generously. I was even more impressed at all the spa relaxation amenities he offered: I actually think he has a bit more variety of them working out of his home studio than a massage storefront operation does. Was in pure bliss by the end of my 2 hour massage and I was impressed with his strength and stamina to go full 120 mins. 
His photos are accurate and recent, and he obviously takes good care of himself. While the massage was therapeutic and I was draped, he doesn't drape you like a mummy as many massage spa therapists do and I liked that he works a good amount of inner thighs that many masseurs at a spa don't even bother touching. He has a full time job and is a part time masseur, and I get the sense that his FT work may cause him to offer strictly therapeutic massages. As someone who really needs strong deep tissue kneading, I plan to hire Doug whenever I return to Annapolis.

Nah he's a hard pass as I tend to avoid receiving mediocre massages from pretty face masseurs that are not trained and/or do not know what they are doing. 

haven't gone to him but reached out a few years back and he will still reach out to me randomly asking if i can come. it just feels a bit off, especially when you have someone reaching out more than once month. and I suspect he is using outdated photos. 

I saw a masseur visiting from NYC recently and his base $160 rate included MT and HE so that's not set in stone just because a masseur is based in NY.

Yeah - definitely not him. Took the plunge and saw Daniel today. He was wearing shorts, T-shirt, and baseball hat, and looked just like his pictures. Very cute. He was easy to communicate with via text. He was quiet in person but very sweet. Whoever said they thought he was Russian was correct.
He has a unique touch – somewhat light and very sensual… really nice. 
I was undraped throughout and there was a nice HE at the end. There was not really any MT to speak of and he stayed clothed throughout. Nonetheless, it was a good experience, and I will definitely repeat!
