Three consistent things I've noticed about Judge Judy

1 - She does not allow hearsay

2 - She does not like when people are unprepared

3 - She doesn't like when an unmarried couple who had lived together and now have separated expect her to divide the property

I enjoy Judy and I also like Marilyn Milian of the People's Court....the litigants are not as dumb as Judy's and she explains her judgments....most of the time Judy doesn't.

Milian has her good moments but.....annoying - she uses the same taglines over & over & over again in case after case after case -

"Donald, it's time for a little rough justice"

"The cheap comes out expensive"

(& the most annoying) "Cellphones aren't just for taking dirty pictures"

& then she also injects personal stories from the bench about her life as a wife & mother, about her husband & her kids way too often as if everybody cares.

Judge Millian not in same category. However i like the fact judge mathis is a true gangsta outside the courtroom. Search youtube for the time he put wendy williams in check on her rafio show!!!!

Today Judge Judy had a case involving an older man (30s) suing over four loans he had made to a young waiter - several thousand dollars altogether. They had met online and then continued meeting in person. Judge Judy told the man that he didn't look like a fool and only a fool would only continue loaning money when it was not being repaid. Judge Judy dismissed the lawsuit.

I like her! I've been watching her online. She's no nonsense and uses common sense.

I had 2 Uncles who were judges -,The first was on the Commonwealth Court of PA -- one level below state supreme court and one who was a US District Court Judge ----- Judy is everyones nightmare aunt or mother-in-law HAG

She and the other Court Shows make me want to . . .

Was a defendant on People's Court. Would never have gone on Judy! I find that she makes up her mind ahead of the facts and will not change it no matter what the evidence is. If she doesn't like you...you are dead. Liked Milian. She read up on the case ahead of the taping and listened. Judgement was for the defendant. I do like watching both shows though.

Bodybuilder/fitness model Christopher Mitchell was a defendant on Judge Judy a few years ago. The case involved an altercation between him and another guy in a parking lot. Christopher won the case. About 8-10 years ago he advertised his escort services on Craigslist in Orlando. You may remember him from his fitness modeling pics (first pic below). He looked more like the 2nd pic when he was on Judge Judy.

Regarding HOT BENCH(Judge Judy "spinoff"):

I enjoy it, and agree that the participants are not too bright.

I find that the judges can be argumentative and not listen to each other; basically they dis each other.

I'm amazed at man's inhumanity to man.
