Totally agree! I see Jay weekly and he is one of the best masseurs in the city. I dont need to negotiate any type of transaction because its understood what the expectations are. He told me he had some idiot that left him 17% last week and expected... well lets just say a lot more than they offer. I always tip 100% of the fee and always leave satisfied.

Jay told me that he expects a tip between $100-$150. That's more than 100% of the fee.

Been thinking about booking a body scrub. I’m bi and have done normal AMPs… do they have a table shower here in a separate room? How does it work?

If you are talking about the spa fee, 100 to 150 on top of that is not much. I pay that on top of his private rates. He is worth every bit of it also.

Its in the next room with a secure door to the room.    It's quite nice but cold. Just asked them to turn on the heat max and keep the water running

Exactly. Jay is worth every cent and more. I always book 90 minutes with him and leave happy every week.

You get what you pay for - and Jay is the tops.

Maybe check out Paris Mens Spa - less expensive!

I messaged them on IG for this week’s schedule. Never got a response

They used to post the schedule on IG, but I think they are only using Facebook now. IG account doesn't appear to be monitored very well

It must be Ben’s spouse who’s taken over the social medial duties for 27. Great job on keeping that insta account active.

I had the impression it was Yura doing the social posts. He had requested that pics posted here from some of the IG Stories be removed.

I've wondered about tipping up front as well but never have because it feels a little yucky.

What about tipping well  "upfront" feels "yucky" ?

If I try someone new and I enjoy them, I always tip generously. That starts the relationship on a good note if you return.

I see nothing yucky about wanting to show that you're a good repeat customer.

What is it then ?

It can be called several things. Quid pro quo, barter, trade, and the p word. I'm sure in some cases it could be called extortion. This concept of paying double-plus the fee-for-service (under the table but out in the open) is new. I don't know any other service where this would be considered standard operating behavior. I'm not sure we should be normalizing it.

This is tipping. Extortion? Are you nuts? What are they going to do if I don't tip well? Publish my name in the newspaper?
