Members, some of you are sentenced to return to high school. "Know wonder". Come now Mr. Glutes. That is unforgivable. It is "no wonder". Another poster used "your" when he should have used "you're". If you can't write correctly then have a friend edit your writings.

Has anyone bothered to click on his profile to see how he spells his name?

I've never seen "Jhonathan" spelled that way before! ;-)

Glad we've got a spelling pro helping us.

Well, perhaps, but that doesn't make it wrong. :-) :-)

Jhonathan is an accepted, if somewhat less frequently seen, spelling of the name Jonathan. It's my impression, though, that Jhonathan is gaining popularity and is seen more often now among young boys than might have once been true.

BG,

Thanks for setting me straight (so to speak). I've never come across anyone with that spelling before and I immediately exposed what I thought was an error on his part.

My sincere apologies for the mistake.

Every self respecting gab site needs a "Miss Jean Brodie" - looks like we just found hours.

Illiteracy or dyslexia?

I love the spelling and grammar police on every forum because they often provide the stimulus and motivation to consider a second look at our writing. Of course, nobody likes to be corrected and many grown men already think they know everything and have nothing more to learn. How dull are they?

Visual people tend to be awful at their keyboards. Multi-dimensional thinkers often can't focus and struggle with eye/brain/hand coordination. The ability to type and think at the same time is difficult for many people, especially if you type and think fast.

Thank goodness for the "edit" button. I don't understand why Daddy doesn't lengthen the edit time period. On other boards, where the thoughts and opinions of members truly matter, the edit feature is NEVER turned off. Not only does this give someone the ability to "make things right," it also provides a social service: a chance to take back what you said when you realize you shouldn't have said it in the first place.

Dumping the edit time limit is another way to improve this board and attract more gentlemen to participate.

Because it was abused.

If this is of concern to you then it is incumbent on you to think through your words and their consequences before posting them. I do not find that an onerous burden and appreciate the respect shown to the community when you do so.

Deej and an abusive MC.

I appreciate your response, deej, but I also consider it as limp-wristed as any bondage scene with Cole Ramsey. (Not speaking from experience, of course.)

Granted, this board has its share of self-flagellators but it seems better moderation has produced less abuse, which is the way it's supposed to be. It's always kinder to give a gentlemen the benefit of any doubt. And gentlemanly behavior starts at the top.

"If this is of concern to you then it is incumbent on you to think through your words and their consequences before posting them."

Well, thanks for the disquisition but it's not a pressing concern. Nothing on this board is, at least, for me.

I always think through my words before posting but that doesn't mean I couldn't say something better two days later. Writing is an art form and I don't see this as just a "I insulted someone so I need to fix it" issue.

"I do not find that an onerous burden"

What is onerous is the controlling nature of the decision. I think it's disrespectful to decent, rule-abiding registrants and completely unnecessary on a well-moderated board.

"and appreciate the respect shown to the community when you do so."

Respect is a two-way street. Daddy needs to learn how to finesse and attract a better quality gentleman to this MC. Building on its #1 heritage, growing the MC may require new thinking, especially in this newly competitive age.

My suggestions are never offered in vain.

Right. Got it. Two full blown diatribes demanding a right that you don't have, aren't owed, and haven't earned, over a feature that has repeatedly proved itself abuse-prone and damaging, and yet you don't consider it pressing. You're only here to insult the proprietors.

Since you find this site so offensive, start your own. Everyone else seems to be doing that. Then you can have all the destructive features you want! :-)

Just when you think that you couldn't possibly see anything more idiotic than what you've already seen posted on this site, and others, along comes good old StoneSoft, errr, HardRock to prove you wrong.

>Visual people tend to be awful at their keyboards.

Well, you may have a point, as I just never see any movies where digital animation or digital enhancements are involved.

>Multi-dimensional thinkers often can't focus and struggle with

>eye/brain/hand coordination.

Not true, as anyone stroking to porn could attest.

>The ability to type and think at

>the same time is difficult for many people, especially if you

>type and think fast.

Not imo, as what correlation is there between two such diverse abilities? Thinking fast, whatever that means, is mental, whereas typing fast is physical: some people think and type fast, some think fast and type slowly, some think slowly and type fast, and some, alas, are both slow thinkers and slow typers. I'll just guess in private, which of those categories you fall into, but I'd wager money on my guess. :)

Ne1 know-tiss how Acoona keeps mayking theez bitchee grammar check poasts & then never responds agin?

But seriously. The issue of silly typos etc has come up to the point of nausea. Who fucking cares? It's a message board, shit happens.

Long detailed posts of substance should be held to a bit higher standard with grammar and typos but otherwise, it's casual dialogue.

Then again, if acuna is just a certain ex-poster re-incarnated it all makes sense and this is simply a moot point :)

QED ;)

RE: Blowhard II

Blowhard? I guess it takes one to know one, doesn't it deej?

Two full blown diatribes? Could your status as a drama queen get any more inflated? Step away from the daytime soaps, old man.

"demanding a right that you don't have, aren't owed, and haven't earned

Who's demanding anything? Shouldn't you be practicing what you preach about respect and the written word, hypocrite? Seems to me you know the meaning of abuse, intimately. How about familiarizing yourself with the edit button, pal.

"You're only here to insult the proprietors."

Actually, you're dead wrong, dodgy-deej. I've been extremely supportive of Daddy ever since I started posting here and I'll bet Daddy knows it. The true insult is that you may have more influence with "the proprietors" than I think your sorry-ass-attitude deserves. Frankly, I see you as part of the problem. If this were my site, I'd throw you out. You're fired!

"Since you find this site so offensive, start your own."

Who said anything about finding this site offensive? There you go again, hypocrite. It's you I find offensive. Care to lecture me about respect again?

Rockhard, I was actually going to agree with you in public for once (about longer edit times) hoping it wouldn't stop your heart. Then I saw that your subsequent post expressed the hope that a "better quality gentleman" would be attracted to the message board, thus single-handedly insulting every poster here. Very tacky, as usual.

Lacking comprehension is rampant.

You can only be insulted if you feel you qualify as a lesser quality man. Don't blame me if I present you with a toilet-bowl full of shit and you decide to jump in.

I'm not sure why certain politically-correct, self-annointed Mensa-wannabees feel it's appropriate to pigeon-hole me and the comments I make. What's up with that agenda? It certainly doesn't take anything more than a flaming, low-life asshole to quote out-of-context to get attention or blame someone else for his lack of whatever.

I did not insult every poster on this board because I wasn't referring to every poster. Smarter men already knew this.

Is it my imagination or haven't several well-documented assholes been banned from this board within the past year? Is it really such a stretch to think that I was referring to those assholes when I made the "better quality gentlemen" comment? A forum board doesn't replace banned assholes with gentlemen memberships overnight.

Even though the chat is calmer and less frequent, I appreciate the more civilized tone on this board. The bickering is nothing more than faggoty cheap, sour anger. There's still more housekeeping that needs to be done and I wish Daddy the best with that. But the MC seems to be on a forward moving track.

A great message board needs to be nurtured and coddled, like a fabulous relationship between a client and escort. Assholes begone and here's to Hooboy: may the #1 MC grow into something bigger and better, and further than anyone ever imagined. Everyone deserves what they wish for. :-)
