Yes he was born in Russia. I had no idea until I met him and heard the accent.

He's still a handsome guy, but he has put on weight, which you can see if you look closely at his RM pics. In the older ones he is lean and gorgeous. In the more recent ones he is considerably beefier. That's really just a minor infraction, though.
