On some websites “ask me” is the default. Meaning if the advertiser fails to select an answer, “ask me” will automatically populate that cell.

thanks - i guess that is obvious and should have occurred to me

By making "ask me" the default, the site is not acting in the escort's best interest. If I see "ask me", I pass by that escort's profile, assuming he's into barebacking and that’s a deal breaker with me, no matter how hot he is.

whaaaaaaattt? I think when a guy puts "Ask Me" for his orientation it means it's complicated or he doesn't want to limit his audience with bi, st8 or gay.

Am I totally out of the loop that it's code for barebacking?

Well if that's the case you might want to rethink this hobby. Despite saying "safe" most engage in barebacking in their personal lives or on the down low with clients. My suggestion would be to play safe and get on PrEP. Protect yourself and all will be fine.

Obviously, I was referring to whether they chose Safe Only, B/B or Ask Me, not their orientation . . . my bad. I just noticed that the option is no longer available on RM profiles, yet it was as recently as last week.

Wasn’t really “obvious” as there are many threads around about “ask me” and not necessarily about safe sex...sexual identity is a big one.

The option disappeared but it appears to be back up again. My profile states “ask me” for safety practice because it is a discussion I have with each client. If condoms are a client’s preference, I’m happy to comply.
