This is truly unfortunate. As a special member [...can't remember the specific name designation] at www.rentmen.eu, the webmaster sent me an email at the site stating that

the wording that I had in my "personal sector" regarding ecorts had to be changed and/or deleted. Guess he did this as a modicum of protection although they're based in Amsterdam.

I always considered Craigslist and Backpage sleazy, low-end providers, so I never used them. Backpage has been known for its shady escort ads for years now and Craigslist time has come and gone too (remember that kid who was in med school who picked-up and murdered girls he met on Craigslist?). But I am concerned that legit providers like RM, Mintboys, etc, could be next.

Strange that they would do this on the eve of SESTA/FOSTA being passed.

 

If anything the law will strengthen their case against Backpage.

 

Now, if they want to use SESTA/FOSTA the will have to rely on the

retroactive portion of the bill (which is by far it’s weakest link).

 

No doubt the timing is no coincidence, but it almost seems like they

are intentionally trying to avoid getting wrapped up in the

inevitable and impending SESTA/FOSTA constitutional cluster fuck.

Well, good for you. My experience is similar. But I cannot ignore the millions who disagree with us and feel their lifestyle has been painfully impacted. So I rather respond to the situation expressing my empathy and support.

I am glad you are aware our outlets may be next.
