What does this really mean? I've seen it in several posts... I think we all treat them with respect and show common courtesy. The only "disrespect" I've been guilty is being late a few times (but I notify them)... and not going as 'far' with the fun as they offer... but other than that, you just greet them, arrive freshly showered, maybe go to the bathroom, and lie on the table/bed. Never fart while being massaged, just go as far with the fun as feel comfortable for both of us, etc.... I mean there's not much room for disrespecting the masseur.

What I am asking really is how would you disrespect a masseur? Can anyone give examples?

Yes, see above. I also think it means do not treat them like an escort, so do not start to grope and grab them or initiate sexual moves. Treat them with respect means respect their chosen title of masseur (as opposed to sex worker/escort), and very often if you do not force the issue, you may get a pleasant surprise. This would seem to go without saying for many of us, but apparently not for everyone. That was always my understanding of the phrase anyway.

"You do rim and suck cock right? All the other massage guys I've seen do that." "You have condoms so I can fuck you?"

First of all I don't usually hire masseurs but when I do is nothing but a massage. I do know some escorts who get asked if they do massages or erotic massages, they tell me those guys usually want something cheap.

I don't know how often a massage evolves into a J/O or a B/J, there was a previous thread about someone on here furious about a masseur who told him the happy ending SHOULD be within the 60/90 mins. massage and not after.... the posters who followed were equally outraged by this demand by a masseur.

To me, that phrase has always been in the context of taking the massage into erotic areas, and respecting that the masseur may or may not be open to that. Proceed lightly, light brushes against the masseur and gauging his response before going further; if he doesn't appear to be open to it, let it go.

Showing up for a massage un-showered.

Don't be grabby! Let it all happen and unfold without rushing!

Sadly I learned the hard way with one provider that an actively developing bulge in a tight pair of shorts during a HE does not necessarily mean that that area on a masseur is literally speaking up for grabs.

I now know that communication is best as such circumstances develop or better yet that such possibilities are discussed prior to the massage.

So Chris, what you're saying is that if a prospective client would appreciate erotic touch in his massage, he should make his wishes clear to you first? I think at least some providers would be put off by that approach in that even a convo about erotic touch between client and provider (who after all really don't know each other at this point) could be construed as solicitation. I've always let the masseur take the lead, you seem to be saying you wouldn't do that.

I’ve always been of the mindset that if a masseur goes for my goods, then their goods are fair game for me to go for. That said, im usually very clear as to what I’m looking for before the session starts, but if a masseur is nude and willing to provide HE then I assume they are cool with respectful touch. If not, then it’s not a match for me. That said, I know a lot of guys that are turned on by having their masseur fully clothed while they’re (client) in the nude, and don’t reciprocate any touch - guess it all depends on the person.

I understand why masseurs would be mad at someone grabbing them their package during a strict massage, I'm sure some clients of theirs want the full escort experience for the same cost a massage lol :p

I have had people with that attitude way too many times. Call me up asking if an 85 massage comes with oral or anal sex. I bluntly tell them they need to go and reevaluate their expectations for the next provider they call.

Brilliant!

Some will show up unshowered horrible body odor then turn around and ask to shower once the massage is over.

I have to say I'm amazed by this. I believe you, but I guess I live in a bubble of office workers who shower (at least) daily, wear clean clothes and use underarm deodorant. It amazes me that clients show up smelling so bad that a masseur would even notice. (The condition of the buttcrack if any kind of anal touch is involved might be a different matter, and understandably a problem.)

Then again, I certainly appreciate a bit of clean manscent from a masseur as he works on me, so maybe I just don't have the same sensibilities as others.

Imagine if you will... A client lays down on the table, after being offered use of the shower.

Anal touch doesn't necessarily have to be involved.

A smelly Butt crack is a smelly butt crack
