Google Drive deleting porn

Today a story that suddenly porn, nudes, etc files that were stored on Google Drive are being deleted.

 

I know several months ago after losing a phone I discovered nude photos (of my ex's butt!) had been erased from my Google Photos and Drive. So this may not be altogether a new thing. I never had any porn there so IDK on that, but pros are saying this is a new thing the past few days.

I think this has to do with something rooted deeper in American culture than the division between Republicans and Democrats. American puritanism is bipartisan. FOSTA was voted by almost everyone in the chamber. Rentboy was shut down under Obama. We cannot blame the GOP.
