I have 4 under my belt - the last being the LA one last year. I didn't train for this year's and I feel so lazy about it...

I'm envious. I have arthritis in both knees; I can barely walk around my apartment.

Me too...me too...In the few instances I cannot listen to a podcast or music while running, I find myself doing math problems in my head to relieve the boredom.

26 miles 385 yards, actually. I live about 7 miles from the beginning of the race.

One of my classmates Senior year in high school would do his calculus homework while walking home. Of course, the next year he was convicted of drug dealing at ... Yale?

I erred ... he was at Princeton. Smartest dude I ever met.

One of my college friends who was incredibly smart also was convicted of drug dealing. He had a Ph.D. from Yale. My friends from Princeton didn't get caught.
