Are Blogs making a comeback? When someone gets in a mood or has a thought they need to publish it ASAP so the globe sees it? Sounds fun to me! First of all, it is so psychologically healthy to get it all out for BILLIONS to see what is going on in your head (and your pants). Make your own Blog. It's simple and free!

>How can something that is relatively new and never went away

>make a comeback? Oh well, mine has come back anyway. :)

I guess it depends on what tech show one watches or, in this case, what the opinion polls say in my head. On Attack of the Show on Tech TV they (the hosts) seem to hate blogs but they all have one. In some tech mags people rave over them and some say blogs are currently what pet rocks were .... cool at first and then ba bye.

All I know is mine should be up for as long as I am in the mood ... you know, like wearing gauchos or something.

I'm glad you restored your blog. I just read it and it's fun and entertaining, like your posts here. Nice ass pics in the most recent one, and the one about remembering your first download was great. That's not something anyone ever talks about, you know? I can't remember what mine was but I am now determined to try and figure out, even if I have to go see a hypnotist. :D

Your words are too kind. Thank you. I have been looking at your Blog a lot lately, along with a few others, to get some pointers and see how others do it. Your Blog, like your ass, is a monument indeed. ;) It is a pleasure to read.

I am sure it is deep down inside there somewhere. I wonder, in this case, if the hypnotist would have to say "You're getting harder" instead of "You're getting sleepy"?

PEACE and thanks again!

>Do people read them or just look at the photos :)

Well, I always go to photos first as I am a "visual" learner. I do want to always give a visual with my text. There are 2 or 3 Blogs that I put on my list above where I have never read a damn thing .. I always go to the pics and leave. The solution to all of my problems could be posted in those blogs and I would never know!

Blogs are usually boring as they represent someone's views on a lot of things on which the reader is presumed to be interested. Some bloggers write prolifically, others, in reality, only as often as they can waddle over to the computer! Some blogs are very hit and miss so one quits checking after a while.

So the challenge is to you, VDN, to bring the blog to a level of higher interest. And it is true that we like pix of eye-candy...even Asian guys, as BN has discovered!

Now why don't you tell us in your next blog entry why you don't go to any of those private parties in Manhattan? Your viewpoint is missed!

Thanks for the tip/insight Lucky. I do want to make it something nice people can go to once or twice a month when there is nothing else on the Interwet to do. I will endeavor to make a Blog that provokes both mental and crotchal entertainment.

Thank you for your kind words. Though I am fun loving and I enjoy debauchery I am an hour and change north of NYC. I have to be up at 5AMish Monday through Friday. Sunday nights are hard. I have a few days off in late December so I hope things coordinate so I can come down and witness this first hand (hand ... I like it when I can use the word hand).

PEACE and thanks L!

Grumpy old men, in reality, should not be allowed to post here :7 Hey over at that http://www.m4mreality.blogspot.com blog there is an interview and it's pretty cool.

Yes lots and lots of Asian guys and maybe a few Latinos :)

I checked your blog today VDN it's a good start. The entry about your first download was fun to read. I remember those days well.

I read it. I am trying to do my own Barbara Walters as well. Imitation is the best form of flattery. So I will hack any great ideas I see in other Blogs and Robin Hood them for my own use. ;) And yes, cool interview indeed.

Thanks. The innocence of those days in my life have been shattered. Now, I am just a jaded woman who has had her lovers forsake her. I should be better tomorrow. ;)

Thanks and glad you like it.

RE: Fogged Blog

Someone keeps insisting that the reality blog is written by our own Four Aces, but he denies it, even though he keeps promoting it here and seems to know exactly when a new post is made over there. But surely his denials are true as no one would have the temerity to say the stuff said over there and continue to post here, would they? Besides, Four Aces has personally assured me that the blog is not his and that he has no idea who is behind it. So it is hard to know the reality these days, but a good steak could take its place. I have heard that Boa in Los Angeles is the new hot steakhouse.

>So Blog on people! Post your fav Blogs here

I forgot to mention that there are three gay-oriented blogs that I read often.

One is http://americablog.org/

and the other is http://glenngreenwald.blogspot.com/

and the last is http://www.margaretcho.com/blog/blog.htm

The first two are gay political bloggers that I really enjoy and the last is my favorite comedian (after Ellen), Margaret Cho.

The first, John Aravosis (AMERICAblog), focuses on gay civil rights and was responsible for getting Microsoft to reverse its position reversal on gay rights (they were for it, then against, now for again...thanks to his blogging efforts). Currently, he is going after Ford Motor Company's recent "deal" to stop advertising in gay media (a bowing down to the creepy homophobic American Family Association). I love how he does not ever back down. Great site.

The other, Glenn Greenwald (Unclaimed Territory), is really interesting because he's neither liberal nor conservative; he's just very smart and thinks through the issues intelligently and with common sense. What's kind of neat is that he's been nominated for a 2005 Weblog award for Best New Blog; the contest is run by a right-wing site, and it would be so cool if a gay blogger beat all of those homophobic neocon sites in their own contest. I'm voting once a day to help him out, and if you want to vote, do so here: http://weblogawards.org/2005/12/best_new_blog_established_afte.php

Margaret Cho's is not meant to be funny; the bitch gets "real" in this blog. Great reading!

Guest DallasObserver

Thanks for posting the blogs. I enjoy your VDN blog the M4Mreality blog, the Monroe Document blog, and BN's blog. I know the others are more high-brow but I'm looking to be entertained, not preached to.
