Anyone been to the Borgata in Atlantic City?

Borgata has a nice feel to it. I live an hour away from AC but I have not been there is a few years. The city is just a bit too cheesy for my tastes and the catering to the bus crowds takes away a lot of the fun. I hope you are getting a good deal on the hotel because at times they are giving away the rooms. If you are a gambler, any casino there will do though Borgata has a nice one.

My primary goal is go and check out the Rainbow Room (assuming it's still going on). I don't have a room lined up yet, but the Borgata looked the most interesting.

 

The one and only other time I was in AC, I stayed at one of the Trump properties and it was the second worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. The worst being a flophouse for homeless kids in Los Angeles in the 70's.

Rainbow Room is in a shit location. Uber in or out if it is late. I haven't heard good things. But things change. You probably have a better chance of hooking up using an Ap and then Uber to that hotel. Several properties have tried having gay bars. They always have steep covers and pay parking.

Hmmm, sounds like I might be better off visiting Philly unless I'm dead set on using the slot machines.

Philly has a casino now. I think it’s called SugarHouse. There’s also a Philly or New Hope thread that talks about where the strippers are when - they’re at the Raven in New Hope on Thursdays starting at 10 pm, although who knows what happens if the Raven gets sold. There’s also a casino closer to New Hope called Parx.

Hmmm, sounds like I might be better off visiting Philly unless I'm dead set on using the slot machines.

I'm thinking of spending a weekend at the Borgata or the Water Club in Atlantic City, NJ.

 

Any forums members ever stayed there? If so, what did you think of it? Did you get lucky? :)

 

Also Check out the New Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on the Boardwalk - also the Ocean Club Resort (Formerly The Revel) both opening June 28th -- And hit the Ocean Bar in between the two On Gardners Pier at New Jersey and the Boardwalk -- Live Music and DJ - and you are surrounded on 3 sides by the Ocean!!!

Ocean Resort (Formerly the Revel) Opened today and Resorts is celebrating 40th Anniversary -- And Garden Bar open on Gardeners Pier over the Ocean ---- It is al happening at the Inlet aka North End of the Boardwalk!!!!

 

And I am just 1/2 a block away from the ocean where all the action Is ==== Look for the RED FLASHING LIGHT OVER MY DOOR
