The 1983 America's Cup: After 132 years, Australia sailed into the history books. It was heart warming stuff.

It's been said (sarcastically) the film career of the male lead, Michael Beck, began with The Warriors (1979) and ended with Xanadu (1980).

 

My favorite take on the film:

“It’s like people say, ‘When you hear Ray Charles play, you can hear the heroin’? When you watch Xanadu, you can see the cocaine up on the screen.”
