Gay Bars, The Renaissance NY Hotel 57; 130 East 57th street between park and lexington

Hi. I've asked about NY escorts as I will be visiting NYC next week but wonder if anyone knows of any gay bars near the Renaissance Hotel east 57th street. I'm not familiar with NYC at all so thought I'd check for any recommendations. Thanks.

Keep in mind that midtown through the Village area of Manhattan that is home to almost all gay bars in the city isn't THAT big, and is easily accessed by 24-hr. subway and cabs (and Uber, Lyft, etc.). No need to limit yourself to the area immediately around your hotel. The more important question is what kind of bar scene are you looking for? They come is many varieties.

The two of which I'm aware in that immediate area are Evolve Bar and Lounge, and the legendary TownHouse. They are both on East 58th Street between Second and Third Avenues, and virtually across the street from each other.

Boxers Sports Bar isn't that far away, at 742 9th Avenue (by 50th Street). I'm not a bar-person but I took my young boyfriend there once and it was friendly and fun; we had an enjoyable time.

The Townhouse Bar is on east 58th St between Third and Second Avenues, so you are a very very short walk from there. I haven't heard about Evolve since Tim and his troupe stopped having their parties there. I thought the owners were trying to attract a straight crowd. Also Uncle Charlie's is located on East 45th St, 2nd floor, between Lexington and Third Avenues. other than theses locations, your not far from Hell's Kitchen across town. A short cab ride to many gay bars. Good luck and have a nice stay.

I wanted to thank everyone who has responded so nicely. I was asked what I was looking for; well being from rural upstate NY where there isn't much happening, and being an older man, looking for young, hustler, strip clubs or just nice places where people don't judge you. Thanks
