I dunno, guys....last time I hung out with @tristanbaldwin , he kept using the word "wicked"......is that part of some regional dialect or something??!!.....is it a good thing or a bad thing??!! :rolleyes:

"Wicked" is a regional term that means "very".

  • "Wicked smaht" would describe someone at MIT.
  • "Wicked rich" would describe someone at Yale.
  • "Wicked jandsome" would describe someone at Harvard.
  • "Wicked good" would describe Tom Brady.
  • "Wicked huge" would describe The Gronk.

Then there's the colloquialism "Wicked pissuh," which I've never quite gotten, but apparently either means really, really good or really, really bad. The winter a couple of years ago, where we had three feet of snow on the ground all winter was "Wicked pissuh," but so was the first time the Pats won the Superbowl back in ... well, whenever.

 

Note that I am not a "native" New Englander, but I've spent enough time heah to be wicked pissuh about tings.

I got the nastiest cold ever the weekend before Thanksgiving 16,I was wicked sick till 3 days after New Years it sucked!

Just one example: he knows I’m into football and, during the season, sometimes he texts me about the games. Why? Just to keep in touch and be a nice guy.

 

He’s still around, but doesn’t advertise (at least I haven’t found an ad for him recently). The next time I see him I’ll ask if it’s OK to give out his contact info.

When I see a nice guy, even if the experience didnt knock my socks off, Im inclined to put a positive attitude on the service-review... or just say nothing.

 

If a guy wasnt nice, I have no hesitancy whatsoever sharing my unpleasant reactions.

Well, I differ only slightly. If Tristan is pointing at you and saying you are "wicked" I might be worried. He may actually think you are wicked (evil). Of course I would have to punch him in the face then. But that is a different story.

I last posted on this thread nearly a year ago. Updating I would have to add Dallas Steele to my list. He is bright, witty, energetic, playful, interesting, and hotter than hot.
