This is not “ask an escort” but “tell an escort”.

Guys, before meeting you, I always tell you I’m a top, so, could you please assume I am going to put my tongue down there before putting my cock? And, therefore could you please all assume you need to soap up this area thoroughly, either before we meet, or join me in the shower so I soap you up myself?

I don’t want to have to break the mood in the middle of the action and send you away to take a shower and come back.

I am sure there aren’t many clients who like to rim a not-so-clean hole, (unless many here start contradicting me), so I think your business would generally benefit from following this advice.

Ok i’ll stop my rant now. Sorry everyone!

I fully concur!

Don't just 'tell an escort' tho; tell everyone! This is advice everyone could benefit from unless you're the kind of guy who just won't let anyone near your ass (& even then a little soap honestly wouldn't kill ya).

I often have an exchange in the first few minutes of a hookup that goes something like:

Me: By the way did you get to shower recently or do you wanna take one now?

Him: Yup! I showered just a couple hours ago.

Me: Ok great but are you sure you're squeaky clean EVERYwhere because I really wanna be able to taste every... last... inch of you.

Him: I'll take another shower real quick!!

+1000! I spend a LOT of time down there before starting plunging it in as it were. And much of it is just to help opening him up so things go smoothly. The more you clean, the deeper I go. It's a win-win situation.

Agree in general, although I'd modify the advice slightly.

  1. It's good advice to get clean even if no one is going near your ass. One of the most unpleasant sensations is to start giving head, only to get a whiff of bowel.
  2. Why some men never seem to take the time to clean thoroughly is beyond me... he may have performed phenomenally, but "skidmark-guy" doesn't get subsequent invitations.
  3. Cleanliness is recommended, but soap may not be best advice. There are gentler perianal cleansers that sting less and even soothe.

There may just be a "natural" odor down there, even after cleaning... It IS an ass afterall..

Perhaps this is obvious, so forgive me for not being in the know, but I'm learning. What is a "gentle perianal cleanser" (brand), and where do you get it? Drug store?

I've personally found the Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash to be very effective and gentle, but always interested in knowing what other guys who are more "in the know" suggest.

I also wondered, @LaffingBear can you link to a product you trust?

I find Dr. Bronners unscented liquid castile soap mild enough for most people for external use. Plain water for internal.

As far as natural odors go, yes there is a such thing as natural ass odor and no it is not even remotely the same as the smell of shit. Natural ass smell/taste is purely phenomenal and delicious unlike the smell of unwashed or improperly washed ass (or at least it's not MY thing, especially with someone I don't know super intimately). Totally different smells!
