I can't match it any British gothic cathedral that I am familiar with. I thought it might be someplace like King's College Chapel at Cambridge, but it doesn't seem to match that either. There are indications that it is British and somewhat urban, but I can't think of anyplace that really fits.

It is definitely the U.K. because the font matches the British sign fonts (e.g. here) .

Could it somewhere in Scotland?

You haven’t yet awarded points for your previous enquiries!

Ok this one is hard for me. I can’t figure out what to search. It looks like it was built in the late 20th century in imitation of a mix of roman classical and renaissance baroque architecture. I don’t think it is real: late Renaissance stuff, in perfect condition, next to a blue water lake like this? I would have heard of such an idilic place.

So the only people building such imitations are Americans (Europeans have the real thing). See for example Hearst castle in Big Sur https://goo.gl/images/FhvORC.

First I thought it is a Vegas hotel, but I can’t find one with love boats on a lake that isn’t the Venetian (and those are gondolas).

So I am stuck! Anyone?

Well, you can make it harder if you ask from which room # among the top floors of the bellagio hotel this photo was taken?

haha.. thought you were taking the photo in room 2314

I think I have to award about 10 points to Tarte ( Madrid, Vegas and Dubrovnik) and only 4 points to Charlie.. correct, but slow ( and no guess even on vegas) :)

The Vegas photo was an insult to my level of geographical sophistication:cool:

I think Tarte wins this one. Never been there, but you can see the lettering of the Sol Ipanema Hotel in the background.

If you weren’t sure, google ipanema beach pavement.
