You start SO many posts in a row no one has time to reply to them all

I'm fairly new here. As time goes I'll probably be posting less.

Hehe, I was waiting for someone to say something. I think Avalon has started more threads in a month than I have in 5 years. :p

20+ threads started this month and 300+ messages overall in one month, got to be a record. Some of the questions seems also a bit too personal to ask in this industry and could hurt people's reputation.

My apologies if so. Just my curiosity. If anyone thinks something I post is out-of-line call me on it. I never mean to give offense.

Easy boys. I like most of Avalon's questions. If they are "a bit too personal" for you then I have some simple advice: DON'T ANSWER THEM!

I asked an escort if he's ever turned around and left. He had been hired for a weekend with a flight out to the clients house. Over. Dinner at a restaurAnt,he decided it was a bad fit. He called a taxi and went to a hotel.

Well I am certainly not going to answer them, I'm not an escort.

I just find it odd that some one with just over 30 days membership is asking so many probing questions...

I believe that's exactly what people are doing:

No responses? Nothing. I can imagine a client requesting something outside an escort's comfort zone. Maybe just BB?

People are being too hard on you. You’re new to the forum and have much curiosity. Nothing wrong with that.

I believe it's an issue of perceived reciprocity. This person has about 370 posts but has started 130 threads, in just over a month. Most of the remaining 240 posts appear to be replies in those same threads. So the level of self engagement appears usually high. There are deeply personal questions and some quite trite questions, which in itself is not a problem, but I don't recall this person sharing many deeply personal stories so the conversation is a little lopsided.

So you can see how it can come off as a bored person looking to have others entertain them. A well adjusted person is going to take notice and react.

I assumed he was researching a book he was writing.

No book. I used to post at Atkol but it disappeared and I found this group. This is an interesting gay forum. I'm just trying to fit it by participating.

No problem with participating, just maybe careful with the "jumping up and down" to make yourself known. Nothing wrong with asking questions but maybe let a thread or two wrap up before delving into next question or expect all questions to get answered, if no one answers there are reasons.

Didn’t realize the number of posts. I agree it may come off as excessive.
