They responded to my questions:

"Hello, Jose!

Thank you for your interest. Nice blog btw.

We are currently gathering rentboys, so our support for renters and other new features will start working in a few months.

Our team is one former Rentboy.com co-creator, one former Rentmen.com co-creator, one former escort, and one upscale gentleman investor who is a freequent user of rentboy service all over the world. The company is located in an offshore. Unfortunately we are unable to disclose the information about our real base or our real names for security reasons. We all know what happeneds if a company like ours is too open for everybody. You are not the only one who may have an idea to put our personal info on a public forum:) Some former colleagues and some athouthorities are already against us. It was more than expected. For example we can not appear on the forum you like so much because the forum is sponsored by our competitors. Everyone who will openly 100% support us will have his post deleted. However despite this we are going to make http://renboy.pro the best and the most exciting escort site ever. Hope to see you again (and again!) on our site as a renter in the future!

Best regards,

Rentboy.pro"

I just asked them what they mean by "we can not appear on the forum you like so much because the forum is sponsored by our competitors".

I am sure they read us.

Hmmm, what ?

If they start with giving bullshit information like this, accusing our moderators to prevent information for flowing freely on this forum without any evidence, that does not inspire confidence.

I really hate bullshitters who play the victim.

And what is this sponsorship they are talking about? We have frlirt4free sponsorship, not RentMen. Am I missing something?

I think you are missing that I ask them what they are talking about because the reference to Rentmen sponsoring "the forum you love so much" does not make any sense. They did not name this forum but made that general reference. Perhaps they think I participate in some other forum. I am only here and recently started to post more in BoyToy.

Ok, that was very confusing.

This reminds me a bit of when my Dad discovered the internet, and email, and started (like so many do) forwarding emails about things that were easily disprovable. I sent him a few Snopes links debunking some of them, and he finally sent me a diatribe saying it was common knowledge that Snopes was sponsored by the ultra-liberal George Soros; a hoax that I'd swear Snopes addressed themselves on the site, although I can't find the link now.

The bottom line is that RM is an ok service. The service along with Daddy makes for a probable postive client experience. I think the recommendations of others ensures the best experience and service. I am so tired of having good to mediore experiences that I am not moving forward on anyone new unless they have reviews or I have gotten feedback from others. Again, this does not gaurentee shit but it increases the probability of having an an above average experience. I think a RM want to be service needs to figure out how to filter out or reduce the shitty escorts and reduce the shitty clients. They need to come up with a system that easily and quickly joins the best of both. A system of this nature would be sucessful and could bring in top dollar.

"Our team is one former Rentboy.com co-creator, one former Rentmen.com co-creator, one former escort, and one upscale gentleman investor who is a freequent user of rentboy service all over the world."

Sounds like a winning combination of people to create a solid grab for the competition.

If I were an escort, the only questions I would have would concern the age of the gentleman investor, how deep are his pockets and commitment, and can they share some details about their business plan? Escorts need incentive and reassurance the business will be protected and around for awhile.

It’s funny that they offer a free lifetime membership if you agree not to advertise elsewhere

I don't know how funny it is, but if the site hits big, this is a great money-saving opportunity for escorts. Free ad space on a popular website is a gift that can only give, give, give. I wish I could advertise my business for free on a popular site. That deal is not going to be around for long.

I go three texts from them. Nothing turns me off more.

Perhaps three is annoying, especially if you don't have any other information to back up the reach-out. No two escorts will share the same opinion regarding a competitor's reach-out tactics. If I want someone special to join me in a business venture, I doubt I would ever give up the chase, no matter how severe the perception of annoyance. Don't forget, in business, if you snooze, you lose.

Annoying reach-out tactic or not, they seem to mean serious business, and there's a potential gift for some early sign-ups (numerous escorts), preventing them from overspending on ad space. The annual savings could be substantial.

This could very well be a good thing for the industry.

Why do I get the impression you're rather adept at generating free advertising on a popular site?
