This morning I went through a procedure where my urologist inspected my bladder from the inside. and yes that means he inserted a tiny camera (well, not so tiny) via ... well maybe you don't want to think about this.

This was under local anesthetics, which is now wearing off and I am in pain. I am taking pain killers right now of course.

My point is: now I am feeling like I will never again want anyone to touch my penis. Seriously never!

I know it must be temporary, but I was hoping to catch some escorts in NYC before they leave. I am not sure if I will be able to, depending on how long it takes me to recover.

So here is my question: has anyone had this procedure, and how long after that did you feel you would enjoy sex again?

Side note: The doctor didn't find anything, which is good news. I am not yet old, but I am getting there and so I notice need to see the doctor a lot more often than I used to.

@Tarte Gogo, I sincerely hope for your speedy recovery. Godspeed!

Thank you, that felt nice to read.

Some people think punters care only about themselves or their own pleasure, but you guys always give each other support and it shows it isn't true.

Pain killers seem to be working, a bit.

Always the pedant:

It's called a cystoscopy, cyst being the medical word for bladder in this case. I'm surprised you're having this much pain.

Normal post procedural pain lasts three-four days, then drops off rather suddenly. If you're still hurting after that period, you might need to give the urologist a call.

hope you feel better soon.

But, as @gallahadesquire said, if you still have pain 3-4 days later call your doc right away.

Much better already. The first pee was the worst, but that seems to have cleared the path.

I want to thank you all, guys.

I won't get myself an escort or an HE tomorrow, but if it still gets better, maybe fun will back at the weekend.

I've had several cystoscopies done. Years ago, the urologist used long, thin, rigid rods and moved them around to look inside the bladder. That hurt, some pain after, and a lot of bladder spasms after where I had to get to the bathroom and pee. It would be several weeks each time before I even thought about sex. Stopped going to that urologist after a five years when all clear (there were follow ups for bladder cancer).

Talking to my doctor a year or so ago, he thought it a good idea to follow up again with a urologist (just to be sure), so found a new urologist. They no longer use the long rigid rods, but a flexible one so the procedure I had earlier this year was extremely comfortable in comparison to the old ones. Some pressure during, completely fine after.

Good luck.

Yeah, I had it the easy way then. Should stop complaining:).

Medallo told me he found me super sensitive in that area compared to himself and other clients.

Never complain about pain. It's always telling you something, but not always something bad. As for being super sensitive, I looked a Medallo's ad, and think he could make a lot of guys sensitive in that area.

Glad to hear you are feeling better and hopefully getting ready to rock and roll again soon. I had the procedure done about ten years ago. Not much pain but much embarrassment as the two attending female nurses were in their early 20's. I definitely remember that the first pee was the most unpleasant. If I remember correctly I was back in action in about a week.
