Many of the escorts start out advertising on the site and then additionally advertise or have profiles on other sites.

 

Yes, PJB is real, but they don't have the most reliable service (which I mentioned on the forum many times before). I met a few guys who worked and advertised only through that site at one point. However, many of them eventually ventured on their own. Most of the guys who left told me why, but I won't get into it publicly.

 

I met Rich Reynolds and Ricky Decker through the site before they began advertising through rentboy and rentmen. There are a few others who aren't working at all anymore that I got in contact through PJB and no where else.

 

My most recent hire through them was Jason Roman. When he first appeared on PJBs (earlier this year) I got in contact with them about bringing him to DC. They are the ones who informed me he was moving to the DC area in October. When I finally met him he verified this.

I'm curious, why wouldn't it be real? Just because they slightly changed their name? I believe the original owner is either no longer the owner or has reduced his role.

 

And why would any escort feel compelled to mention all the sites they advertised on unless they were directly asked? A lot of the escorts who come on the forum have to be asked or reminded about posting links to their ads. Some won't link to their ad no matter how much forum members ask. Not to mention the ones who don't advertise at all who are/were on this forum.

 

Only @VictorPowers could explain exactly why he decided to advertise on PJB and rentmen. However, I surmise its to get more exposure on the market. I know he started advertising on PJB (now JBE) first before advertising on rm.

 

Anyway, whether you believe me or not, it's real now, as it was before... just with a slightly different name and possibly new management. I can personally attest to that.

I do believe you, do not take my inquire as questioning your word. Why are you taking it so personally?

 

I ask because I was told back then that the guys advertising in PJB had an exclusivity arrangement and were not able to escort independently, as I understand @VictorPowers does. We had in the past ghost websites mirroring rentmen and back page posts, I was just wondering this new PJB is another of those cases.

No worries man. I'm not taking it personally. After dealing with the site (in both incarnations for years now) I'm just saying whether you take my word or not, beyond management changes its the same site. I'm just trying to prove my point to your devil's advocate... your skepticsm. :D

 

That whole exclusivity issue is part of the reason many left. Although since there is possibly new management, being exclusive to the site maybe not much an issue.

i had first joined PJB 2 years ago. They recruited me and the owner was amazing. It is my understanding that shortly after I joined, the owner had a medical leave for some time. Even from the start, I barely received any business. After awhile, all contact with the company ceased. Truthfully, I didn't even know I was still on the site.

I've only had one PJB experience and it was really really bad. I've got my eye on Adam though and might give him a try. But I fear that my requests (bringing his baseball gear, jockstrap, etc.) won't be communicated and I'll be SOL.

Me too. Once you connected with them, information and responsiveness was good in the setup, and the two or three guys I met through them all delivered good experiences too. But getting PJB to respond to an initial inquiry seemed haphazard. Like BnT, I've met guys who worked with them starting out who moved on for reasons that sound a bit troubling.

 

One thing I've wondered, how do they find their service providers? They seem to regularly surface really hot, nice guys despite being an agency that is always sort of hard to find. How? Also, could never figure out their geographic home.

 

And what is Apollomen --just a new name, or did they pre-exist as another hard to find agency? Curious.
