Lol...I can't stand Powerball. I did not even notice or play. The odds are asinine. It's a shitty game all around.

As a confessional, I have started playing lottery ever since that 1 billion last year made headlines. But Powerball is just bad. It's the highest paying game of them all, but it's the most expensive (of the draw games) and hardest to win. Jackpot or $100,000. All hard to win. Megamillions is also about to get more hard to win, and more expensive at $2 a line.

I started playing because I became fascinated with the idea that, maybe if I was buying lotto games during all my travels these past years, I "might" have hit something nice somewhere. So now that I've collected enough pretty post cards, I'm collecting other things. I've won what could amount to a free full tank of gas here and there, but nothing major...yet. Ha.

As far the lottery being rigged or a scam, it's only set to pay out a certain percentage of sales. Usually 50%. That answers the question right there. Some states like Wisconsin are upfront about this and their odds are listed on every ticket. Other states like Tennessee, prefer to keep their players ignorant. All in all I know the lottery is bad business, but keep my expectations low and only spend what I have gathered in my dashboard coin tray once it fills up or if I happen to be curious, have the inclination to play and don't mind making a charitable tax donation to the state

Sometimes I can't help but wonder though: if the game says win up to $250,000 or $500,000 or $5,000,000,000...is that how much I'm going to have to spend in order to win? Well Goddamn!

Lol, i seen that. But I ain't gotta tell her anything. She just happened to be the 1 out of 292,000,000 that won.

For it to jump from 450 million to 700 million in a matter of days, shows that a lot of $2 were being wished upon a star.

Your state's pick 6 actually has better odds of winning and even a higher expected payout(probability of winning times jackpot amount) most of the time.
