Not to trigger a battle but those tats are ugly to me. With all the eyes - not my cup of tea. I keep thinking the tat craze will pass but I don't know if it is.

I expect the ink-fascination will revert in incidence, but that wont be very soon. Its about self-expression, for many. And herd-mentality. Theres a sort of fascinating phenomenon these days, due to the confluence of attention-seeking, social media content and share-encouragement, and a desire to be seen as on-trend. Plus, instantaneous ever present information, staring at a device while walking, driving, etc..... has the effect of prompting action. Even when forethought might result in consideration of future ramifications.

 

Label me judgmental: I doubt anyones considering future explanations to grandchildren when they insert gigantic gauges in their earlobes, or have crotch-pointed handguns inked on their abdomen.

You're allowed to like what you like. Personal standards aren't wrong. Doesn't make you terrible.

 

Wrong would be denying employment to someone for some ink that could easily be covered while working. Wrong would be a landlord refusing to rent to someone with ink. And yet, even some of these have exceptions.

 

If I were a landlord, I wouldnt lease to someone with swastika tattoos.... or covered in words indicating s/he wants to blow-up the world. Might be a good ACLU case.... but thats how I feel.

Ya know.... one of the things I like best about the forum...

 

Although it happens, the overwhelming majority of participants dont opine with useless negative comments, based only on ads, when specific rentguys are highlighted.

 

Theres very little pointless, non-experiential "eeeew, he does nothing for me" or "not my type" or "I dont do ___________ guys" when others ask about men, post 411 requests, etc.

 

Its one of my personal review site etiquette standards. I see a great many posts go by about rentguys that dont interest me... might even occassionally repel me. I say nothing, because it benefits no one.
