To try and get this thread back on track, I think it is fitting that Mike Gaite is the first coverboy of the new era as he has said that he is personally attracted to older men, whatever older means to him.

That seems as likely to me as the presumed dominance of older men.

 

I get tired of the ways gayness is still pathologized as a consequence of a particular type of relationship with one's father. It has more to do with how one's preferences interact with one's family history. Straight men with fathers who withheld affection may be like that with their sexual partners. Everyone in this category could stand to work on lessening the effect of withholding fathers in their lives.
