San Diego Area Question

I need to be in San Diego area (about a half hour north of the airport there) in September and am thinking about hiring during my stay. I'm not at all familiar with southern California. Should I restrict my search to San Diego? Would Orange County or LA be too far away for an escort to travel for a 2-3 hour session? I'm willing to cover train ride, time reimbursement, etc. for the right guy ... I just don't know how far outside of San Diego might be asking for too much. Any input would be appreciated.

Usually masseurs, escorts don't travel more than 10 miles... there are few that do, but they charge for that.

Orange County is like 2 hours or more (with traffic) from San Diego... and LA is much more than that.

Where in San Diego are you staying? I'd recommend you to just search in San Diego.

Thanks for the input and tip on Oceanside! I've scoured the traditional sites for San Diego and nothing so far has really sparked major interest. I'll keep looking to see if maybe I missed something.

In various cities I've lived in...I was willing to travel up to 100 miles or more for a 2-3 hour appointment. It doesn't take that long to get from San Diego to Orange County. Depending on the day and time...especially anytime after 6 pm, it's not a bad drive.

 

As long as it's an appointment made in advance and not a last minute "come now" thing, it wouldn't be an issue, for me atleast. I've traveled as far as Bakersfield and Modesto from the bigger cities for appointments.

Which route are you taking OC>San Diego? 2 hours?? Maybe on Friday evening.

 

The OP mentions he's 1/2 hour north of San Diego, so assuming north San Diego county area the OC guys are less than an hour away, off peak traffic hours.

 

I stay in Solana Beach, Del Mar area and don't have too much trouble getting OC guys to drive, or LA guys to take Amtrak.

 

That said, local offerings will be easier to arrange. It's getting the San Diego guys to leave the downtown area and drive to NoSD county that's a challenge!!!

Pfft..guys who live downtown in named gayborhood sections of town never want to venture outside the end zones of the neighborhood. I used to live in a suburb of Denver, 10 miles west from the center of the city. The young scene queens would rarely come out my way, from "down there". If they did, it was a one-time, miraculous, ecliptical phenomenon.

 

Then I moved to Nashville, and then here in Florida. There's people who live 10, 20, 40 miles outside of the city. And was like damn...Next place I move I want to atleast be within the "loop".

I'd say being able to travel and see different neighborhoods is among the top 3 reasons I enjoy escort work. Especially moving to a new city, it helps gather ideas of where the fun neighborhoods are, and just changes up the overall vibe. I just don't like staying in 1 neighborhood. I wouldn't appreciate having to drive 45 minutes to work at the same place 5 days a week, but going to different areas makes it interesting.

 

I had a client in San Francisco who lived way up on the hillside. I probably wouldn't of had any reason to go up there otherwise. But it was an interesting drive up and the view was unreal.

Many in Palm springs travel regularly to San Diego as it's a great way to beat the heat...and other things. Via the 15 it's not a hideous drive, especially making a deal for 2-3 hours

I think it will be difficult but not impossible to find someone willing to travel from Los Angeles or OC to San Diego. That is a very far trip. Your best bet would be to find a San Diego guy :-/

I beg to differ with this. I have seen quite a few guys over the year that make the drive to SD from OC and Palm Springs to see me..just plan in advance. It's easier for a guy in central to Southern OC to drive to north San Diego county than venture into LA. I suggest you consider looking in other areas and make the drive yourself. Considering the travel time and expense you might ask about discounted rates for multiple hours.

 

I'm in LA and have traveled numerous times to Palm Springs which is 2 hours away.
