another brilliant Garfunkel and Oates tune! if you haven't already, check out their show on netflix - it's fucking hilarious and each episode tells the story of a couple of their songs. there's also an autobiographical element there - i saw riki lindhome a couple of weeks ago and she was very very pregnant - in the show, she goes through a whole bunch of crazy silliness in an attempt to get pregnant.

They have individually had some network TV success, like on Scrubs and Big Bang Theory, but I did not know they had their own show. Very funny stuff.

both of them have played bit parts as well as some minor recurring roles on multiple TV shoes - scrubs and big bang theory as you mention, along with many, many other shows. once you see them as garfunkel and oates, you'll recognize them and start seeing them everywhere

I saw Kate Micucci walk by when I was eating at a restaurant in NYC last year. I didn't realize it was her until after she'd passed by. The woman at the table next to me must've recognized her, because she looked up and said "I love you!" in her direction after she'd gone.
