I think it's strange that WHORE is acceptable in WWF, but not SLUT

Whore - a prostitute

Slut - generally a term for a woman or girl who is considered to have loose sexual morals or who is sexually promiscuous. It is usually used as an insult, sexual slur or offensive term of disparagement.

So the basic difference is professionalism versus 'insult, slur and offensive'

Therefore, it isn't a matter of Economics, but a matter of behavior. All whores are not sluts, and all sluts are not whores.

All whores are not sluts, and all sluts are not whores.

I've never liked that sentence formation. I prefer Not all whores are sluts, and not all sluts are whores.

This weekend I was traveling with my 78-year-old mother to a family wedding. I nearly drove off the rode when the conversation went like this:

Mother: Sis, are you able to play Words with Friends while we're in the car?

Sister: Yes, I just played a word two minutes ago.

Mother: Something is wrong with my phone then. It won't let me play.

Sister: It won't let you play if you have misspelled a word. Are you sure you have it spelled right?

Mother: I think so. How do you spell c***?

I didn't know Words with Friends had asterisks.

Yeah cunt does not work on words with friends either. I do not play the game very much but given the opportunity with the right selection of letters, I and see is certain words are acceptable. I hope your mother found a better word, after all cunt is only worth 9 points without bonuses. I guess in the right position you could get a lot more out of cunt. 48 if the c is triple and the word is triple.

See I assumed c*** was "cock"? Wonder where my mind is at, lol!

Apparently, many Native Americans consider "squaw" as offensive as the "n" word, and for a similar reason. There is a movement to rename any place that uses it, just as was done with place names that included the "n" word up until the 1960s. Teachers and librarians always have difficulty with the title of one of Joseph Conrad's great novels, The N***** of the Narcissus, which is probably why it is much less frequently read than it was when I was young.

I have not denied that some are offended by the word squaw. I even asked the question, if a word is offensive does it stop being a word. Apparently fag did stop being a word, at least as far as Words with Friends is concerned. Shit, which has no other meaning but to be offensive, is accepted. Where is the line? Denying the acceptance in a game in certainly within the purview of those making the game. Where would you have drawn the line?

Fag?

Squaw?

Shit?

Fuck?

Crap?

Queer?

Homo?

Za?

The decisions of the game makers were No No Yes No Yes Yes No Yes
