since you're "new" around here, there's a long history of well-intentioned forum members trying to organize get-togethers.....the attempts often devolve into clusterfucks of pages-long threads with each poster offering how it should be done.....

 

if you do it, remember the KISS rule and don't ask for opinions.....announce a solid date, then ask people to PM you for the place and time details (which you've already irretrievably decided on!).....don't try to please everybody who writes in!......

A little sidebar about the politics: I always thought Lee Kwan Yew (Singapore) would have been the perfect leader, if he had been less iffy on gay rights.

Years ago there was a regular get together at Numbers in WeHo (yeah, that long ago!). But it was ultimately eclipsed by the Palm Springs event, which is way more fun.

 

A local equivalent to the Rock Hard Sundays would be the Adonis nights at Fubar, either Wednesday or Sunday. I went for the first time a couple of Sundays ago and it was fun. Also it was easy enough to talk to people - not too loud, and of course lots of great eye candy.

Thanks @mike carey .Yeah, but still..I'm a put-up or shut-up kind of a guy, and I rarely shut up
