And via you're signature line, easy to verify! Welcome!!

Thanks Mike! Good to see another greedy bi guy here. Pls Ignore my signature line for now. I still have to update my ad. I'm just debating with myself on how to handle that discreetly while in grad school.

Do not include face pics. You do not have to re-invent the wheel if you are looking for discretion.

I was thinking of a batman costume. Your solution is simpler.

I've personally always disliked the term newbie here when used toward members who have just joined this site. It sometimes comes off as snobbish forum elitism of sorts, which one might find in a college fraternity or similar social setting.

It's possible that new members might resurrect older posts here simply as a method to begin joining in a conversation they're interested in, in lieu of starting new posts on their own which they might not yet feel comfortable doing.

Anyway, just my feeling about it.

The sense of community or (dare I say) family is one of the many positive qualities of the forum. It does, however, sometimes have a downside. A newcomer may feel as though he has walked into a very nice neighborhood bar, but all the seats and tables are reserved for regulars. I'd say the dynamic is changing though. Ten years ago or so there were some social/sexual topics that would pretty quickly get drubbed down because the elder statesmen believed that they had already been decided, or at least discussed enough. It's as if some of us had missed out on a conversation, and we were expected to refer to the meeting notes regarding what was already said and on the conclusion. Go back a bit further in time and escorts of color were very much a fringe topic. The group seemed sharply divided between those who discussed young smooth bottom boys, and those who did not. It's nice now to see a bit more blending and diversity of thought.

We are, however, a fraternity (with apologies to the female members) of sorts. Some of us have to play the roles of alumni and upperclassmen, and supervise the hazings...

I may be a "Newbie" by title, but I am a long-time anonymous reader of the forums. I enjoy the topics/discussions, and the banter between long-time members. I try to read older forums if I have a question. That has helped me avoid bringing up old topics. I have also noted the more intense, or harsh, statements that take over some of the posting-line in the old posts. With that said, I enjoy becoming a part of the community and joining in when I can. Apologies in advance if I naively open an old thread.

A little hazing puts hair on the chest. Usually I like to do the spanking but if any of you upperclassmen need me to bend over just say hello.

If I had contributed to anything other than fun or edification, I sincerely apologize. I really am very happy to have found this forum and I hope I won't overstay my welcome.

Now let me go back to waiting for my appointment.

Good evening to all!

the OP wasn't referring to you at all :) or any of your posts!

EXACTLY!! When I first started and was searching, I realized I had read and commented on a 2011 post! We can all easily scroll and ignore those posts we choose to ignore.

And, HornyRetiree, because your comment brought the 2011 post back to the top of the list, I've read through pages of old posts before realizing yours was the only post in this decade. Now I check the dates right off.

This newbie has been reading the reviews - and occasionally the forum - for a couple years. I was wanting some advice on what was certainly (read: not at all) a unique situation that caused me to finally register and post something. My bad - next time I'll search first. :)

Man, it is not a big deal. From my point of view, everyones positive participation should be welcomed and celebrated, even if it is not original. If you do the search, better, but if you open a repetitive thread, it is also good. Ignore the grumpy friends here. :)

Well when I started this thread the first word of my post was "Apologies", I was grumpy!

I've been a contributing member here since day #1. My current screen name and profile does not reflect that, I had a escort-turn-cyberstalker a few years ago and had to change my name.

I welcome all new members, and always will. I too like the diversity and the fresh ideas. There are a very few new members who I feel have an agenda on their plate when they join. To date, those I had in mind have not participated in this thread.

And wow...5 pages and like 88+ posts, glad we are alll engaged!! Take care, all!!

As a relative newbie I really enjoy the diversity and exchange of info into an area that is highly personal and yes secretive. I often talk to the escort I'm currently seeing about it and it is just a forum that is enjoyable thought provoking and diverse. Thanks men.

So? Your rash is healing nicely? I hate for you to suffer.

Some of the newbies may be older, just saying

Not sure you understand that newbie refers to someone new to the forum, no matter how rotten his under-britches are.

You don't get sarcasm, don't worry it happens...

@Jomo means that some of the newbies might have been posting under other SN and they created a new one just to post again in a more innocent untraceable way. It's just a theory, yinz don't get mad with me.
